Eh, they'll get experience but they'll lose a lot in terms of chemistry and with a new coach and system coupled with Alex Ovechkin getting older (due more to his style of play than his actual age) I'd have to disagree.

EDIT: I also wonder about the league's mindset regarding the PR hit they'd take if they lose another season.
The players would ultimately get the short end of the stick if they league locks out and lets face it, you're still going to watch the Caps if you're a fan no matter what happens.
Do any of the leagues really suffer that badly after a lockout? We're obsessed with sports so we'll moan and complain about it but when the Caps are on TV we're watching.
