Last time I checked Coach Gibbs was no longer coaching the Redskins. He is also a man of god, who puts his faith first in his life.

Joe Gibbs accepting that invitation had nothing to do with the Redskins.

Don't talk down to anyone, especially respected posters, if you want to last here. Not sure anyone would miss you if you didn't.

And you continue to be a dick. Have fun somewhere else.
Im saying that some kid that wasnt even born when we were a factor should show some respect to people and their posts. He blasts me and hes some "respected poster", screw that man. And I was making a known point to the guy telling me to edit my post, it wont matter cause he quoted it and its in stone, that doesnt edit when I do. So yes, I was being a dick cause if the guy wanted to really try and calm me down and warn me, he could have sent a PM, not quote me. I can still get banned based off my quoted text in a post, regardless if I change it or not.

Looks like you are the one trying to be a dick to me. Im not going to blow up on you amigo, I said what I said to someone else. And I said that I will gladly accept any punishment for what I said from the mods.

I respect this board and the job the mods do. But I get kinda pissy when someone puts me on blast, like the other poster did. And for the record, Im 37 years old NC. Not an elder in the sense of being old, but 16 years older than the poster that started **** with me.

I'm not here to swordfight about degree of fandom but i' saw all 4 Super Bowls under Gibbs as well and skipped school to go cheer on the team in the rain parade after winning in '82.

I still think giving a motivational speech to the Cowboys was in bad form being such a patriarch for the winning ways of our organization. He doesn't need the money and should have just sent a signed copy of his book to Jerrah. LOL
It was a religious motivational talk, about faith, God, Jesus, Mary, etc. that had nothing to do with football.................what in the hell is wrong with y'all?

I heard he gave an impressive speech.

After a round of applause, he peed in a cup and made each player drink from it.

We had already won two of them before you were even a twinkle in your fathers eye when he was looking at your mother at a Motley Crue concert. Step off son.
You're embarrassing yourself. Seriously, get the **** out of here.

Next time I'll try to be born a decade or two earlier, just for you.

Your acting like a complete ****ing child, wait, you are. The point Im trying to make is that Joe Gibbs accepted an offer to give a religious speech to the Cowboys during their chapel (thats church for the ones that dont know) session. His speech was about God, faith, believing, etc. and had nothing at all to do with football, much less the Redskins/Cowboys rivalry. And for anyone to "hate" on Coach for doing this is just absurd and needs to evolve socially in life. Seriously, y'all have issues and may need meds if you are mad at Gibbs for doing this.

Its a known fact if you are a Redskins fan that Coach Gibbs is a man of God. He is open about his beliefs and if you dont pay attention or believe, he is the one that inspired our beloved Sean Taylor to turn his life around. Asking a former coach thats known to be highly religious and write books about his faith to speak to your team during their church session is completely legit.

Its not about what team asked him and who he used to coach for. I guess the simpletons will never get it, thats fine, you all just sound ridiculous to me. Im sorry. And this is coming from one that believes in God but hasnt been to church but like 4 times since he got married (14 years) and even I understand it, sheesh!
This x10000000000000000 Coach Gibbs is not going to turn down a request to speak during a church service. He leads a weekly bible study for his employees at his racing shop! The man bleeds Burgondy and Gold but he holds god above all other if you do not get that then you are truly a moron. In now way can y hate Joe Gibbs and call yourself a fan of this team

I made not a single comment about anything you said regarding Gibbs' reason for speaking to the Cowboys. Maybe you should go back and read what I quoted. It was very specific. And yet you continue to judge the fanhood of others, as well as acting like the mere occurrence of your birth long before mine has earned you something.
