Wanna say I feel good about our team.

In fact, I don't think feeling proud is out of the question.

Yeah, a whole bunch of things went wrong in this game.

It's normal for a few things to go wrong. But we had a whole bunch of them happen, all in one game. All in a CLOSE game. All in a close, division, ROAD game.

And we were in it, anyway.

Other Redskin teams, after a game like this, I'd be heading for Tailgate. Maybe wondering what kind of draft we might have. I'd be mentally getting into "maybe next year" mode.

But this team? I'm not feeling that way.

I could see this team winning the NFCE. And by that, I'm not saying "well, we aren't mathematically eliminated, yet". I mean I could see this team legitimately deserving to win it.

And, frankly, I wasn't that optimistic, when the season started. Right now, after the way this team has played, I'm more optimistic than I was after Week 1.

Right now, as I type this, I'm thinking of a line from Full Metal Jacket: "Private Joker is silly and he's ignorant, but he's got guts, and sometimes guts is enough."

I'm proud of this team. Right now. After this game.

Defense will get lambasted (down to backups at, what, 6 positions?) - but it was the offense that had 4 second-half turnovers.

That being said -- I love where this team is heading. Love it. We need one more offseason of acquisitions, we need to get healthy, but the future is ours.

But this loss is absolutely crushing. A lot of blame to go around

I feel like we need to score 30+ points in order to win games. We have the offense to do it, but as good and explosive as the offense is, the defense is equally bad.

I feel like we're in every game, which is nice. Defense has GOT to start picking up some slack though. If we get an even average defense, we're gonna start winning the majority of our games.

This team has made me care again.

This is the first time in 3 years I am legit upset after a loss. I haven't cared like this in years.

Injuries+cap penalties have crippled this D. I would love to see a fully healthy squad.

But damn we have a QB. All the losing last year was worth it

I feel good about our future, but terrible about our present. The defensive collapses, the strength of our team are really inexcusable. We're making mistakes you shouldn't see in high school.

The best thing is a lot of players are young and learning. Many are just going to get better.
