Alright, since nobody else has stepped up to the plate, I will now take on the responsiblity of trying to organize a little tailgate for us in Pitt before the game. So this in now the OFFICIAL tailgate thread, yay!
One important thing to know: YOU CANNOT BUY ALCOHOL ON SUNDAY, EXCEPT FROM A STATE LIQUOR STORE. So if you want to buy any alcohol, I'd suggest doing so Saturday to make sure you can get it easily and have a wide selection.
First order of business, here are a couple of links to map to help those from out of town navigate:

With nobody chiming in with any preferences, I think the best place to meet and tailgate would be the Mon Wharf Landing (1 Ft Pitt Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15222). It's a $5 lot (so be prepared for that) on the South Side of Pittsburgh, just across the river from the stadium. From this lot you can walk across the pedestrian bridge, take the river ferry, or ride the shuttle. Though, of course, both the shuttle and ferry cost money.

A is the lot, and B is of course the stadium.
The weather for Sunday is supposed to be in the mid 40s, with a 50% chance of rain. The benefit of this lot, however, is that it appears from what I've seen to be under one of the main roads through the city. So at least we should be protected from the rain.
(The links of maps are down right now, when they're back up I'll post a couple with the lot highlighted to make it easier to see)
If all goes according to plan, my crew should be set up in the lot by around 9:30 and ready to go. Without the obvious flags and tents of the regular ES tailgate at FedEx, we'll have to improvise. I think if we all park somewhere near the middle of the lot, we can all congregate together. We'll be arriving in a silver/gray Dodge Ram 1500. I'll be the 6' tall redhead with a full beard and neon-yellow mohawk in a burgundy Cooley jersey.
Now for the important part: Who's coming, and what are they bringing?

I will try to update this thread as often as possible until Sunday morning, so hopefully I can stay on top of this guys. Even if this is only a couple dozen strong, I figure we can have a good time.
Time to find some holes in that "Steel Curtain," GO SKINS!
HAIL!
(Thanks for the sticky, Jumbo!)

I'd treat it like a potluck and bring stuff you know you'll like/want, but if we can get more people and a clearer list of what they're bringing then I can let you know what we need.
