I love the part of luck being less mistake prone? Are you frickin serious??? Ugh, 18 int's to Griffs 4. What a BS homer article that is extremely biased. I do like luck but I believe that RG3 will win ROY.

Is this about wins or a QB beauty contest? Who cares.

Im glad you had that crystal ball on October 27th when we were 3-4 and about to get the beats versus Pittsburgh the next day. I wish you told everyone back then, friend.

Im going to somewhat defend Luck while also pooing on him. That offense they run for him is stupid. Everything is deep and down the field, but Luck likes to "take chances" to put it nicely and turns the ball over a lot. I dont get how anyone can be rewarded for messing up and making mistakes, but for a long time the media were giving Luck props for throwing ints

I work in sales (outside) and listen to the Sirius NFL channel all day. They are slobbering over Luck & Wilson all day long. RGIII is not even really considered at this point. It's a joke to me. For whatever reason there seem to be "powers that be" that absolutely do not want RGIII to win, at any cost. I (hearing this day in and day out) do not give a flying **** anymore. I was irritated after the 4TD performances back to back and all they kept mentioning was Luck, Luck, Luck. I realized there is something bigger here, whatever it may be, and now just want to win. Robert will not win the NFL ROY award. It has already been written and frankly, I'm just fine with that. I love my (our) quarterback and they can all go **** themselves. Sorry for the rant....I hear this crap all day and have become very tired of their agendas. The sad part is that many of these people are the ones that vote on the award. Enough. HTTR

Luck is having a great year but how is ESPN responding that most are now ranking him #3 in the Rookie of the year race?

In the grand scheme of things why does it matter. RG3 is nationally respected and hopefully will lead this team to the playoffs for years to come. We'll see in 5-10 years who the better QB is, does it matter that much who wins ROY?

I thought the people that were bangin on the QBR because Luck was ranked higher would take a second at the QBR. Many claimed the QBR was just a 'made up ESPN propaganda/agenda stat' but the QBR has ranked Griffin higher for several weeks now and currently ranks Griff several spots higher. The truth of the matter even when this article came out the QBR only separated Luck and Griff by a small margin.

What's pretty comical is how everyone is gushing over his "highlight" video someone posted on the Colts Forum. The video doesn't really show anything but a few passes you could find scrolling through HS tape. Also, look at how the receivers have to stop and wait on the ball or are falling down after they catch it because of the placement.

Luck is going to be very good but the hype of him this year is beyond ridiculous.

I really hate ESPN's rating system. Something about it just seems so arrogant. Other people use different metrics to gauge players (football Outsiders, etc.) but none of them annoy me like ESPN's.

Some may say its just a game. But it's about heroes and tribes, loyalty and devotion. It's our commitment and our passion, our battle and our belief.

    Yeah.

There are an awful lot of short plays in that highlight reel for a QB who supposedly throws downfield all game long. Most of that video is 5 yard runs and dump off passes.

If Luck were the Redskins QB the same people criticizing him would be screaming from the top of the mountain proclaining him ROY.

Yes his int's are alarming, but his ability to erase them from his mind and continuosly bring his team back is that of a 10 year veteran.

If they give Luck this MP or ROY I will blast them online, in emails and if board one day, in their studio!

To some extent I've noticed the same thing, though Pat Kirwin will always bring RGIII in to any ROTY discussions.

This is my take or inference so take it for what it is, but I believe it's not so much that any of them think poorly of Robert, as much as they are more impressed with Luck being an almost ready made classic pro-style QB, and with Wilson for doing so well for any rookie, let alone a 4th rounder who was projected to be too short to be a starting QB in the league.

I think Griff falls in to a category which they can't really figure out. Is he like Vick or Steve Young? Will he last? Is this for real? Is it too obvious a choice because he is so popular with the fans?

Additionally, lots of guys on t.v. and the radio are going to look at Kirk's success against the Browns as some mark against RGIII, even if they never come right out and say it. And even the fact Robert was injured and out for a game confirms (to them) that he will never last in the NFL.

I'll take a QB that doesn't put his team in bad situations. One that doesn't turn the ball over more than he scores. I don't care if he has 5-6 comeback wins in a season. Those are 5-6 games that more than likely shouldn't have needed a comeback to win. Look at the teams he had to "comeback" against. it's not like he's doing this against contending teams.

I'll take Luck's schedule any day over what the Skins have had.

Everyone mentions the Colts oline troubles but fail to notice that RG3 has been sacked 1 less time and would actually average out to being 9 more sacks taken than RG3. Or Luck's ints are up because he throws more. If RG3 had the same number of attempts as Luck he would have 29tds to 6 ints (with 400 more yards)
