Well, as a fan of giant monster movies, you ain't watchin' for the story.
Pacific Rim looks like my cup of tea.
~Bang
Yep, he is friends with the owner of my company and one day I was walking through work and bang, Erik Estrada walks through the door in front of me. He was such a nice guy, really down to Earth. I got a picture with him and everything. My company is in Forest which is about 15 minutes away from Bedford where they were filming. It was a really cool experience.

Two more damn movies that look great, yet feature Tom Cruise. He is a bane on my theater-going existence. I can't stand the guy and he continuously makes movies I like.
OBLIVION
ALL YOU NEED IS KILL
He also looks to have two more in the line--Van Helsing (I don't know if calling it a reboot of the Hugh Jackman bomb a few years ago is accurate) and MI5.

This was filmed right down the road from where i work. They actually parked movie trailers in our lot. Looks really good.
Just a heads-up on the Ah-nold flick---save your time. DVD at home when there's nothing else to do. Only a couple of good moments (if that) and the rest was so hard to buy so often (even when you suspend being critical knowing what you should expect) that it just wore the thing down. My prediction is out of all these major "old-guy action-star reborn" flicks, this will be the worst.

Maybe I'm the only one on here that likes this series. Ok i'll admit the 1st one was bad in a good way, the 2nd was just plain bad, the 3rd was forgettable. However the 4th was solid, and I thought Fast5 was pretty darn good. It really got away from the corny street racing culture and focused more on the whole action/heist/car chase theme. It was like The Italian Job on steroids, and this one looks to be more of the same.
And then we have Pain and Gain, Michael Bay's latest. It looks like it will be more "Bad Boys" and less "Transformers" which is good.....I think? Either way I'm a Wahlberg fan, and shutting my brain off to see him and The Rock in an action flick can't be too bad. On another note, the movies is "based on a true story" (im guessing real loosley) I read parts of the MiamiNewTimes article that tells the story and it was quite a bizarre tale. I could see how this movie could be classified as a "Dark Comedy".
This isn't probably for everyone, but fans of studio ghibli should be happy. The original came out in 2011, so some may have already seen it.

Chris Pratt lands lead role in Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy'
http://social.entertainment.msn.com/...5-55429158f280
The "Parks and Recreation" star, who can currently be seen on the big screen as a Navy SEAL in "Zero Dark Thirty," will play Peter Quill, the child of an alien father and human mother who joins NASA and eventually makes it into space. There he encounters an alien presence known as the Master of the Sun who names him Star-Lord, leader of the cosmic police force known as the Guardians of the Galaxy.
And here's the Big News:
more (and pics) at linkIn the comics, the Guardians and the Avengers teamed up to battle Thanos, the galactic super-villain glimpsed at the end of last year's "The Avengers." With the Guardians also rumored to be making a cameo at the end of "Iron Man 3," the stage is being set for both 2014's "Guardians" and 2015's "The Avengers 2."

For those who aren't aware, Top Gun is in the theatre this week in imax 3d. Went and saw it last night.
The film is still grainy in some parts but the sound was awesome.
Early reviews for Die Hard 5 dont look very promising, but the trailers and clips looked pretty bad, so i cant say im surprised. jack the Giant Killer also looks completely retarded by the trailers.

Does anybody else find it weird that there's a hansel and gretal movie and a jack and the beanstalk movie out at the same time?
