Kinda' glad I don't have to make the decision on what to do with that specimen Arrington Sunday.

I think I'd probably choose to just sit on my hands in silence when he's announced. That seems about the best way of showing our disdain for the gutless, narcissistical, Redskins hating **** without disrespecting the occasion for the true Redskin greats going in.

Although I fully understand and wouldn't condemn anyone who gives him the dogs abuse he most certainly deserves.

    Hail.

It would almost show more resentment to be 100% silent than it would to boo.

You know what, that would be an awesome think to get out there before Sunday. And on the day, at the tailgates and hitting people going into the stadium.

Fantastic reception for every other deserving inductee. Silence when that D/bag is introduced. If that wouldn't send a message of exactly how his actions have made him despised here by so many I don't know what would.

    Hail.

Fantastic idea, though it would be hard to pull off.

I've never listened to his radio show, but I know the way he ended his time here, and some of the things he's said/done since, have turned me off to him.

I hate that he will forever be known as "a Redskin Great" when, in fact, he is not.

His statistical place in Redskins' history:

    113th in games played (78 - tied)
    13th in sacks (22.5)
    111th in interceptions (3 - tied)
    12th in forced fumbles (6 - tied)
    40th in fumble recoveries (7 - tied)
    13th in tackles (321 - tied)
    11th in assists (76)

His was hardly a "great" career, in his inclusion in our 80 Greatest is an insult.

I guess I'm going to sound pretty naive here but people really have parties to announce an engagement now?

    No, their parents do.

And airborneskins, are you working for LaVar or something? Because I've got news for you: You're not getting paid. Whatever front he's using will fold and he'll leave you in the cold like a LaVar Arrington restaurant.

He's a dick and a blemish on the team's history.

Does anybody know if any of this is going to be televised on FOX or CSN?

FOX. No regular season games are broadcasted on CSN

Fox - its the national 1pm game, so unless you live in another area with a home team playing at one, it's fox.

And Comcast never runs games - right? Fox and CBS are the only wiht contracts...i think...

Sorry. I wasn't very specific. My bad.

I meant the "10 for 80" stuff on FOX or CSN...

Update: The former Redskins greats, more than 200 of them, are going to be introduced, one by one, starting at exactly 12:38 PM. So try to get into your seats before then!

I doubt it. I think they'd mention it on the redskins.com link (see op). It's being streamed though, on redskins.com. So you can watch it there.

Let's be honest, I'll be surprised if Lavar doesn't get booed. In truth, I don't give a crap either way. You reap what you sow.

But who really cares about Lavar? I don't. Every other name on that list is not only deserving, but a true Redskin great. I hope that Buges and Petitbon get as much love as they deserve. They are both "guys behind the curtain" that had more to do with our glory days than most people realize. Awesome day for those guys. I hope people cheer Bugel until he starts crying.

Also, any day where you get those guys + Manley, Clark, and Hanburger in the stadium at the same time is a time for rejoicing. Looking forward to it.

I read the link, but wasn't sure if they'd have info in it for the television stuff, since it was pushing redskins.com. I can't watch it online, which is why I was asking.

    Thanks, though. I appreciate it.

You Lavar haters are funny to read. You actually believe he will be booed and that the majority of fans hold the same resentment towards him as you do. You know how he got in right? Because of the fans. While I agree with you that I'm not sure he's an 80 great (but then again neither is Jansen and a number of others on this and the 2002 list) bottom line this list of 10 is a fan driven thing and Lavar is still a fan favorite.

For that nitwit, freelancing, prick to be on the '80 Greatest' list shows how desperate the Redskins are to show something positive in the last 20 years.

Why would you honor a slimeball who tried to give his playbook to a hated rival, and called our greatest Redskin, Joe Gibbs, the worst coach he ever had?

His inclusion only reaffirms in my mind how stupid a majority of this fanbase really is. Or it is just a bunch of youngsters trying to find anything to hang their hat on in the last two decades.
    HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!
