This might be a bad example, but I remember when Snyder first took over, and he acquired Neon. We had gone one bad snap away from making the conference championship game the year before, and everybody was excited for the 2000 season. Snyder had a mic set up at midfield and addressed the crowd, and the boos came raining down. I was surprised! At the time, I thought Snyder was great, and the disdain for Snyder had not yet matured at that point. I looked around. I could not see a single person booing, and yet I could hear them, and it sounded like tens of thousands.
