My daughter just showed me the hourly for northern Montgomery, 20833. Heavy show starting at 5 PM, through 5:30, then just snow through 6 PM, then rain at 7 PM.

all I care about is making my 1/12 flight out of DCA to St. Thomas. I'll burst a blood vessel if bad weather ****s that up

Updates on the other storms - Models still don't quite have a handle on the Wednesday-Thursday storm. They're back to being cold now! Latest GFS still has it changing to rain, but the duration of the Frozen precip. is longer. Upper air temps support sleet and freezing rain mostly. NW suburbs will likely see snow to start off.
Saturday storm still looks on point. GFS is a little slow wanting to bring most of the snow on Sunday, but I think it'll be a mostly Saturday storm. We'll see. Could be cool to see the flakes flying during the game.
For Jan. - the snow around the 2nd and 3rd has gone to being just a clipper. BUT there's still big snow in the forecast around Jan. 6th now. All of that is still a long way off so that'll change. Stay tuned.
Back to the present: Winter Weather Advisory now up for Loudoun, MoCo, Howard and points north and west
Winter Weather Advisory for NORTHERN MONTGOMERY...NORTHERN HOWARD AND NORTHERN BALTIMORE COUNTIES for light snow and sleet about an inch of accumulation. Funny but the same thing up here in the Pocono’s calling for an inch of snow
Sticking to the ground, roofs, trees, just about everything but the roads atm - still coming down pretty good
Trees are white
Holy crap it's snowing out
Did not notice
Was busy watching Wire
Quick weather update. Tomorrow is looking to be a mess. Saturday's snow is still on. And the Jan. 3rd storm is back (with over a foot of snow again)
Merry Christmas everyone!

Got 4 inches here last night into this morning. low of 5 degrees tonight. ouch.
GEORGIA AVENUE.
Wow I have never seen a storm so hard to predict snow totals the Weather Channel is saying one inch range (all heavy sleet) on local on the 8's, WPVI has us in the 6-10 inch range, and NOAA has us in the 4-8 inch range
