yeah, theres that reason. plus, for college students like me (or any students really), to get out of school for at least a day

Unless you're on a full ride, you're paying for college, so I'm not sure I understand this line of thinking. To be sure, I felt that way in high school, but my attitude changed in college since that was an opportunity I was paying for.

Besides which, it says you're from McLean, which is where I grew up. Unless high school up there has changed a lot in the past 15 years, it's a pretty competitive academic environment. You should hunger for school

nah my dad pays my college tuition i went to a small school in Rockville MD so my highschool wasnt all that academically challenging.

Well, this thing seems to have BUST written all over it. We might get some light snow out of this, maybe. But definitely not a snowstorm here on Long Island. They really should stop getting my hopes up.

Not likely. It will be a dry powdery snow but the timing should be bad.

Really light snow in ffx city right now. Not expecting much, but hope it doesn't screw up traffic in the morning.

I just drove home from Reston to Springfield via the Fairfax County Parkway. No snow in Reston but as I got closer to Fairfax, the snow picked up and the roads were all white. Maintained the intensity all the way home. A small section near Springfield was treated and just wet in one lane.

I bet this clipper tops our event on Friday.

Exactly one inch here in upper Montgomery and it's still coming down, but it's supposed to stop soon.
