It is snowing on Long Island right now. Only supposed to get an inch or two. They have been hinting at that storm for next Friday but we will see. Way too far out to take that seriously.

Boring 4-8 inches up here.
Wow. Charlotte actually got snow last night. Started while we were at a restaurant. I would estimate 2-4 inches of snow that accumulated on the trees and in the yard, but not in the street. Heavy, wet snow.

It looks like this winter may be done with any big snows for the Mid-Atlantic and Southern New England. I was hoping for one more but that may have to wait until next winter. Bring on Spring!!
There will be a very good pattern to start off March with. We will need some help but it would be super awesome if we could actually see some significant snow in this area before time runs out.
Time is pretty much out. Snow is fighting a losing battle from here on out.
Patterns may look good for the beginning of March now, but if we see what we've seen all winter so far...that'll change...
There is this but I don't know how much I buy into it. No one is talking about a possible snowstorm here on Long Island for this weekend.

Nasty mix bag of sleet/snow/freezing rain which will be changing to all rain eventually.
8 inches of snow Thursday....
now a blizzard warnning in effect until midnight Sunday. 9-14 inches of snow expected with 45 mph winds. yuck.

This thread might as well be youngchew's diary at this point. I went jogging in 55 degree temps today.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

The Mid-Atlantic and Southern New England are done with winter. Time to move on to spring. Two weeks until we turn the clocks ahead and have the sun out until 7!!
