About 6-8 inches of snow up here. I believe approaching 70 inches for the season. Got me a day of no classes so no complaints here.

Snow in March is not some unprecedented phenomenon. There have been his historical snow storms in April on the East Coast. How long have you lived in the D.C. area?

Honestly I'm ready for Spring and tired of the cold. My friends down there whine about when it is in the 30s and low 40s but this winter, a day above 30 degrees was a blessing. We went through two straight weeks of it not hitting 20 degrees. Unfortunately since it is going to be cold the rest of March I at least want to get as much class canceled and as much sleep as possible. But yeah, we're up near 70 inches of snow and areas in Connecticut have broken 100. We've been hammered and everyone's had enough. You win winter, now let us free.
I agree also, summer sucks. WAY too humid especially in D.C. Spring is where it's at.
