He had more highlights in three seasons than most players do in their whole careers. Best safety ever.

I feel so blessed to have gotten to witness in person him playing. I have a few photos of him that day as well...I will forever cherish those pics. He was definitely one of a kind and in my mind born to play this game. He showed his talent & heart at every game on every down. It breaks my heart that he was taken from this world so soon. He was on the brink of becoming the man he could be on & off the field. I'm friends w/his Dad on FB and Pedro is doing well considering. He posts alot and thanks us, "his Redskins family" for allowing him to remain a part of Skins nation..he watches every game and acknowledges whenever someone posts about ST...He even posts some old family pics w/Sean every now & then...super nice guy..humble in every respect and so grateful that Sean had the opportunity to play for the Skins and is thankful of how we honor his son..just thought I'd share that...RIP ST! We miss you!!
yeah I have to admit I get a little choked up watching this stuff too. ST was amazing. I truly believe that when all was said and done he would have been right up there with Ed Reed and the other greats. I hope his family and friends have healed and thinking about him only brings them joy and happiness.

Sean Taylor Forever
I miss 21. Love that guy. As evidenced by my handle, my favorite players are usually head hunting safeties. Sean was an incredible talent, and an even better teammate. I remember watching the ProBowl when he decked that punter, and some of the players got pissed about it. I thought it was awesome. When he put on his helmet, he only knew one way to play the game...with reckless abandon. I remember stories of the coaches having to remind him constantly in practice that the offensive players were on his team.
I bet his induction will get us to 4-5. Hell, I bet we would beat any team in the league this weekend. Sean will be watching, and our team will do him proud. Hail.
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."
I had bought some tickets to this game randomly(My first game ever), and finding out that Sean will be inducted, and I'll be there to see it live, means a LOT to me. Wow...
Sean you were one hell of a safety and an even greater role model for young men like myself. You played my position with the same reckless abandone I play it with. More importantly, you WEREN'T perfect and you MADE mistakes, a lot like me, and you were growing and maturing into a man, a lot like what I'm trying to do. And the fact that you're gone now only motivates me more, as a safety and as a young man, to carry on your legacy.
Forever R.I.P. #21 Sean Taylor4/1/1983-11/27/2007
Never saw anything like him before. He moved like a corner but had the physical presence of a linebacker.
Probably my favorite player of all-time. Maybe not the best overall players I've seen (who knows what could have happened) but I was so proud seeing him running around the field and laying it all on the line. In our lean years he was the reason I'd still watch every play.
Honestly, I'm still a huge Skins fan, but after he passed it was never the same.
Still say it, and will probably always say it.
The best I've ever seen.
Jackie Taylor, Sean Taylor's daughter is going to be the coin girl this weekend FYI
Losing this guy set this secondary back a decade or more, and we're now seeing part of that tragedy play itself out on the field.
Definitely miss ST back there. He'd have protected the backend from many of this years atrocities up to and including Victor Cruz debacle.
Not only are you missed as a football player, but more importantly as a father, son, and brother. RIPST
