Anyone got a video of the incident (with the ref)? I wanna see the reactions again now that I know what was said.

DeAngelo now has my blessing to have beat him on the field, what a joke for a professional in such a prestigious and high profile job. Of course the media hasn't said anything on this at all, keeping it quiet. Props to Hall for not ranting to the media about it and keeping his cool, even apoligizing for his behavior when he really wasn't in the wrong. I would be angry if I were Hall and actually got fined 30 grand for getting angry by being called a racial slur by a employee of the NFL.

I felt like there was a reason Hall got angry, so I reserved a bit of judgement. That was the maddest I have seen him in a few years, so I thought it had to be something relatively major.

So, is there any proof that the official used the racial slur, or is it just here-say?

Our insiders seem VERY sure, and they don't really **** around when it comes to stuff like this.

If they don't fire this official, does he call another game against the Redskins. What kind of reaction will that bring from D. Hall if he doesn't get penalized. What kind of bias will the official have against the Redskins. Maybe, we can run a sweep to his side of the field, and have the jumbos take him out.

So a ref uses a racial slur against DeAngelo Hall and it's not the biggest story in sports right now presumably because the media and the NFL conspire against Washington and Hall in particular.

Pearlman writes that Michael Irvin, incensed that tackle Everett McIver, in mid-haircut, would not leave a barber chair at training camp in 1998 so Irvin could get his haircut first, stabbed McIver in the neck. McIver was rushed to the hospital and survived, but not without losing a lot of blood. Irvin's silence on the charge has been deafening. I asked a Cowboy who played on that team if the story was true. "Absolutely,'' the Cowboy said. "I'm surprised it was kept quiet over the years.''

In that incident the Ref was cursing at another official not a player. Personally I dont mind a bit of industrial language between players and officials - but racial abuse crosses the line so far you can't see it in the distance behind you. If this is true like many I'm amazed the official has not been fired.

because Hall didn't blab it to the media and Goodell keeps all referee reprimands behind closed doors. Do you even realize this info came from jsteelz and LL who have proven insider info?

Don't you think there's a reason Hall went to Goodell personally about the incident to get it investigated and is appealing the fine? Don't you think there is a reason Hall got pissed at a reporter for bringing it all back up?

It's a known fact Goodell keeps referee stuff behind closed doors. A fact many have complained about.

If there's one thing LL and J wouldn't **** around with, it's this kind of thing.

Can't imagine in a million years either of them letting this out if they weren't 99.9% sure it was true.

How come to other players just held Hall back after that? Do they have no shame? Shouldn't they have been just as angry?

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and think they didn't hear it, but I'm glad I wasn't one who rushed to judge Hall.

WHoaaaa, that took a left turn lol. wow. I've been puzzled since that day because I was like "wait, DHall looked really, REALLY pissed there." All makes sense now. He's pointing at the jumbotron, then suddenly his eyes light up and he's in his face. Hell, I think you even see Sanders snap his head around like "what that fool say?" lol

And in Pittsburgh how fitting lol. Seriously, give me a break with this ref circus nonsense. What a ****ing joke. Our team is penalized a very, VERY significant amount of cap room because we were potentially threatening the competitive balance of football games, while some nobody ref directly induces a key player to get himself ejected. Think about it, why does an old white man drop a N bomb on a black guy? To piss him off. It's predetermined, it directly influences the game. The ref might as well have been betting on the game like whats-his-face from the NBA.

You're telling me the Washington Redskins were 36 million dollars more dangerous to the integrity of the sport than a company-employed official that's calling people n-words. Glad to see the NFL has it's priorities straight. Nice wholesome commercials you have with all those children in them, NFL. Just keep making sure linebackers and safeties don't hit guys too high, and most importantly, zero tolerance for leg whips.
