Meriweather looked fantastic. He brought energy to our whole D. Hopefully he is good to go Thursday.

i was at the game and watching the game from behind the endzone and merriweather makes a huge difference. he literally knows where to line up and take the best path to the ball
I did it in the game thread and I'll do it here.. That's admit I was wrong about Meriweather, I didn't see him having that much impact on our defense. Boy was I wrong. What a great tackler and pursuer.
Just got home from the game. Anybody still want to argue with me that Meriweather not being on the field hasn't made a huge difference?
I've never been so happy to be proven correct.
HAIL
made some key tackles, some hard hits, nice int. Was a difference maker. Hope he is ok, first one knee, TWICE..now the other knee..yikes. We need him against Dallas. Hail!
I was a little surprised with Meriweather. I knew he was better than what we had, but he made a difference. Hoping he will be ok

Meriweather proved he belongs in that secondary. They played lights out
might have just been me, but it looked like we played a lot more man defense than normal, and the pass rush was getting home for once, which helps out the secondary tremendously. Taking nothing away from Brandon - definitely an upgrade and a good down hill safety.
Any word on his injury?

Meriweather said he came out of the game for precautionary reasons: "I didn't hurt nothing. I'm going to be back the next y'all see me."
@granthpaulsen
Meriweather on strong play of secondary: "I don't think it was me." Said four starters being together for the first time boosted the mood.
Thanks Murph. That just made my night.![]()
Thanks Murph! Wow that's very good news. I'm actually glad he took the precautionary route and came out considering how fragile his knees are. You can really see how he impacted the rest of the players around him with his performance. I'm very optimistic going into Dallas on Turkey day!!
HTTR!
Great job BM, welcome to our Defense!!
Gladly here to eat my crow on Merriweather...very tasty
