Garcon + Meriweather = Win over Philly???

Meriweather said he came out of the game for precautionary reasons: "I didn't hurt nothing. I'm going to be back the next y'all see me."

This is what I'm most concerned with. He was playing really well, and then we had to pull him. Hopefully it was really minor, and we just sort of said "We're up by 2+ TDs, let's play it safe so he's good for Thursday."

I think having Garcon AND Meriweather on Thursday would be huge.

BM had much more of an impact and that's fantastic. Hopefully he can keep up the energy and level out our D. If Garçon can come back to 100% by the MNF game, that would be awesome. If we can figure out a way to get the Dallas game, we will have 11 days to rest up and really believe that we have a shot at something this season!

BM came up HUGE today, and had the whole secondary fired up, guys were flying around and doing some serious hitting... hell they even had shady looking like he was lost in space lol
that dude was on planet x with the look on his face as he was being carted off.

I was at the game , Meriweather had a HUGE impact I thought. He was at every tackle, I was really pleased with his efforts today. We might have our selfs a solid safety for a while if he stays healthy, he wants to play.

I posted this in another thread too, but it's been a while since we've seen a safety make plays for us. If he's healthy for the Cowboys game, he could be essential to us winning.

Merriweather takes much better angles. He's right on top of the ball carrier ready to make perfect form tackles, as opposed to Landry who you usually see diving at a guy's ankles from the side.

I think meriweather just sprained his knee. So he should be good to go for Dallas. We'll need him out there.

Yeah he really looked like he was having fun, I was really bummed about his injury though. But he really did make an impact , he can have some serious potential.
