Reign I agree with you. I'm not really going to put much into this post because I feel it isn't worth my time but don't worry their are some member of ES who agree with you. I say the same thing to angry Wizards fans, it's really shocking that our mediocre team can't win when our best players are injured (Garcon, Orakpo, Carrikier, Davis), not too mention we've lost Merriweather and Jackson at safety.
I'd love to see the amount of people on here who just a year ago thought Hankerson was going to be a stud receiver and Kerrigan was the next great pass rusher who are now blaming the front office/HC.

i know, right? as skins fans, you'd think people would be used to losing by now.
"Watching RG3 today is like watching Jordan vs. the Blazers years ago. Waiting for him to shrug his shoulders as he runs by cameras." - John Keim, November 22, 2012. Thanksgiving at Dallas
It's totally possible to be able to call things as they ARE and do it in a way that is totally calm.
This team can't break my heart anymore, honestly. It's frustrating as hell, but I've pretty much seen it all at this point, and the script is EXACTLY the same, year in, year out.
A team comes into town with a horrible record? Yep, they're gonna beat us.
A rookie QB? Of course they're gonna beat us.
A huge game that we label a "must win". Gonna be a loss.
You're saying we should be excited about scoring THIRTEEN POINTS?
This team is just clouded in loseritis. I still believe a lot of that is on the owner's karma, but I know most will think that's ludicrous, so that's for another thread.
What it's DEFINITELY about most recently is Shanny's inability to deliver. Sorry, but he hasn't overhauled crap. Not in a good way, anyway.
We have gotten worse each year he's been the head coach. The numbers prove that so far. His teams show no passion, no team heart, no real identity on any side of the ball, the special teams suck, the defense is on pace for an all-time worst.
It's just laughable how anyone can defend the guy at this point.
He's made a few good personnel decisions and a number of bad ones. And the only reason we even HAVE RG3 is because the team has been horrible.
I can give him some sort of leniency for the ridiculous injuries we've suffered, and they have been huge. But I know we could've beaten the Panthers today with the guys that were on the field. They simply played with no heart, no desire, no discipline.
There's simply nothing to look forward to with him at the helm and the other one calling offensive plays like a schizophrenic. Kyle can call a great game one week, and then come out with beyond-belief crap the next. That didn't look like a pro offense today. Defenses are catching up to it now, and Kyle's not keeping pace.
There is not one coach on our team that can keep pace with their counterparts in the NFC. Not one.
This team is in shambles. Again. And I say that with the utmost calm.
bnecause it wasn't a rebuild from year one it was a patch-up try & win now
I have been a big supporter of the organization and still believe that we have to see AT LEAST a 4th year of Shanahan. However, we have to be honest about where we stand halfway through his tenure here. The only facets of this team that appear to be clearly better than the team he inherited are QB (a player we gave up 3 additional picks to draft and who was a can't miss prospect) and RB (a position that, to his credit, Shanahan somehow can squeeze every last drop of productivity out of). I'm also happier with our WRs but think I'm in the minority.
Is that really enough tangible evidence to believe that anything will be different in 2013 or 2014? I think there is a better than 50% chance that we are starting over after Shanahan's contract expires. The only good news in that scenario is that our new staff will be inheriting a dynamic, young QB who should be about to step into his prime. I hope this thing turns around, but the questioning of Shanahan is absolutely valid here. You would expect some more progress ON THE FIELD and we need to stop settling for a front office that isn't quite as bad as the one we had previously.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

great post Diss being a fan doesn't mean being a blind homer ,agree with everything you said.Wanted Shanny to be the guy so badly,in reality he's not.As someone else put it proof is in the pudding & the pudding stinks!!!
feel for u younger guys but you will be around longer & will see a new stadium & future of maybe winning football
exactly. our offense is such a gimmick. nothing but stupid college trick plays that end up with field goals. our team is more garbage now than it was in 2010 when shanny took over! indy was a 2-14 team last year, yet now they are in the playoff hunt while we might not even win another game? i wonder if i will ever see a winner in dc. at least the older fans here got to witness super bowls!
This thread backfired spectacularly. 13 points baby! Yeah!
It's time to enjoy a bye week and hope we get some good news for a change. I need a break from losing, thank you very much. You calm down, bro. This is second week in a row I've watched repeated showboating against my team because we sucks too much to stop them...
All the positives in the world can't make up for the fact we lost today.

We don't know what we think, we don't know what we know. All we have to go on, is what we say and what we show...
