Just stop it. Why does anyone care what is going on in Indy? The argument sounds like a girl who is upset she didn't get a better prom dress.

First of all, there is no way we are better off now than we were during Gibbs 2. Gibbs 2's team had heart. Shanny's team does not.

I'm tired of silver linings and excuses. I'm tired of waiting until next year. We lost to a 1-6 team at home in a game that everybody agreed was a must win.

You can calm down if you want, but I am fed up.
The press asked a Redskins executive about the salary cap penalty and the executive responded, "Ask John Mara." So the press asked Mara and he said, “What they did was in violation of the spirit of the salary cap. "

Oh I see now, even though there was no actual salary cap in 2010 according to the CBA, the "spirit" of the salary cap still existed. Thanks for clearing that up Mara.

Can't wait for the offseason when everybody's predicting playoffs and the "cautious" people are predicting 6-10. If Shanny stays, I wonder if we'll be a 2 win team.

this is YOUR team... If you can't see any positives from this year to last year, you're either blind, lack knowledge of football, or should do as some of you suggest and "give up on the skins".

I still haven't seen a 32-3 loss... I haven't seen us completely man handled. Our defense needs help, a lot of it, I agree... but if you can't see the shining stars on our offense, I pity you...

In all my time of being a Redskins fan (a little over a decade now) I've never been proud of a quarterback or running back like I am now... every day in Redzone's pregame show, i get to hear them gush all over RGIII and Morris... not bashing us because we're a horrible team.

I guess people don't remember 3 years ago when the only time the media mentioned us was to laugh....
They are still laughing. Just giving Griffin's amazing potential the benefit of the doubt for now. 5-11 will put a stop to that. Defenses have already figured out the high school offense. Sad Griff is being wasted like this. No doubt he wishes he was a Colt.

I swear it's not the losses as much as it's how we lose.. I thought Shanny was a disciplinarian? This team, nearly 3 season in, is just as undisciplined as ever.. False starts every time were across the 50.. Holding calls out the yang, illegal formations, blocks in the back.. Stuff like that doesnt need talent to be evaluated, it's all coaching and what you let your team get away with.. Shanny looks old and overwhelmed imo.. Writing off the season already.. Im not afraid to say it, he's failing as a HC.. I love Shanny, respect Shanny, but I can't just sit back and watch the team never progress and act like everything is gonna be ok.. The past 2 weeks have been dismal, when you'd expect to see your young team making positive steps.. I aint seeing anything positive.. Even RGIII is being coddled imo.. Why wont they let the man throw the football? Anyway, Im gettin off on another rant.. Sucks to be us..

No one expected all the problems of the past decade to be solved in one year or two years, or heck, even three.

What we did expect was a professional team that maybe if not the most talented on the field, was the most well prepared and disciplined.

Instead, we have a team that is the most penalized team in the NFL, with 75 penalties for 649 yards. UNACCEPTABLE. We have veterans melting down and losing their cool in crucial late game situations. Fans have a right to be mad about this. This speaks to poor coaching. Period.

This doesn't have to do with the talent or lack there of on the roster. This has to do with how well players are coached.
Ex post facto laws and collusion: banned in the US, but legal in the Democratic People’s Republic of Goodell.

"When you don't have the talent, you have to win with the pen and the pencil, and they are not doing it." -- Smoot
And since the bye, it seems like they are doing better with the pencil...

Our offense is fine. The last couple of weeks, we have made too many mistakes/penalties to give ourselves a chance. I wouldn't say it's all about teams figuring us out.

If you think RG3 wishes he was a Colt, then you are free to think that. As disgusting and misguided of a thought as it may be.

100% agree. Does anyone really think that if we had Luck that our record would be any better? We have our quarterback, it's the other pieces that need to fall into place.

If you had made this post after any other game this year I would have been agreeing with you 100%. This is the first time this season that I have felt this badly about our team. We have one good player on our team. Seriously, ONE. RGIII is an amazing player. Thats all we have.

BTW, **** Mara and the Giants.

Skins fans I suggest you just invest money in fantasy football, it really makes the NFL much more enjoyable. Knowing the Skins basically suck every year, you can atleast root for some good players out there.

Given the situation, I think you miscalculated your audience, here, OP. Allow me to more accurately acquaint you with us in our current state.

Jumbo, what's up with the pouty, blonde haired boy? He appears way too sane to be involoved in this thread.

Reign, I admire your courage. There are a lot just like you looking at the way the majority of posts on this board are right now and shaking their heads. The hissy fits are so pathetic, but it is what it is. Like I said, the way this fanbase has become the team represents it well. I don't care who started it, it just is now.

Don't feel bad because everyone wants to attack you for this thread... trust me, a lot of us are totally with you. It's just not worth getting into it with them now, it's like trying to calm a 3 year old throwing a tantrum.
