No, I'm not upset about the offense, or the defense or the special teams, or the coach or anything else. What I am upset about is....

    LOSING.

My one team is 3-5, the other is 3-4-1. Fantasy football sucks for me this year. My one team went 13-1 last year with the championship.

Anybody remember the biggest problems we had with the team under Vinny? No drafted linemen (offense and defense) from the early rounds, signing aging vets (to massive contracts), no franchise QB, backloading contracts, treating draft picks like play money, Snyder's frequent involvement, (apparently) ignoring our scouts opinions... and on and on.

Is this team better? Well the record says obviously not. Have all of the above changed? Yes, and that's a start at least.

I find it rather comical that everyone ignores the amount of talent we lost due to season ending injuries all across the board. Even if half of those injuries didn't occur, we wouldn't be playing the way we are.

Also, the real problem is our DC & Bob SLOWik. It's hard for the offense to keep their head straight when the defense continually gives away 98 yard drives to the opposing team. The problem isn't necessarily Mike and CO but rather his decision to let Haslett stick around for so long. I was hoping he would finally can him this morning, but we're not so lucky. I mean what would it take for us to lure in a young and hungry DC like Bob Diaco or Lou Spanos? There's tons of other young DCs at the college level who can bring more out of our current defense and redo the secondary than Haslett will ever do. It's just really frustrating seeing this clown week in/week out looking confused on the sidelines and using the same old predictable and repetitive blitz packages and expecting a different result. What a bum!

Yep, yep, yep. I'm disgusted with the way things have gone this year, but mainly because of the potential I think we all saw in the first few games. There were too many holes even when everyone was healthy to make a realistic playoff run, and the injuries have not helped in the least.
