Periodically I get a page load that looks like this, I try a refresh but it doesn't change it, there are some other similar things that happen like this too, not sure what's up.

I get the same thing from time to time. Close the browser, reopen it it. It usually fixes itself.

For your level of tech savvyness, just put a Post It note over your glasses.
