I must say, switching back and forth between msnbc and fox news is just outstanding.

Where did they find that suspenders guy on fox? Who goes on national tv and thinks "tonight is the night I'm going to rock my orange suspenders".?? Is this really someone we want to take political advice from?
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."

Doesn't that tell us anything? I think it does. just like when Gore lost Tennessee in 2000. He would have won the election

Can't even win your own state. I really don't think that gets the attention it deserves by the media. It's like your own family telling you to go **** yourself in a time of need.

Or maybe it is more like a salesman who got rich off a customer... And a few years later that customer refuses to do business with that same salesman. What does that say exactly?
Joke from the 2000 election (In which Al Gore would have won, even without Florida, if he had carried his home state of Tenn.)

Neal Boortz, Libertarian talk radio host, broadcasting from Atlanta, stated that apparently it's starting to sink in to Al Gore that he should explore alternative careers. So, as a fallback position, Al Gore has applied for the (then vacant) position of Head Football Coach at Georgia, citing his ability to give rousing halftime speeches. (Pause for people to contemplate the mental image of Al Gore trying to inspire a football team.)

But they turned him down, because, if you can't win in Tennessee and Florida . . .

My gut says that many of them pass.

I may be wrong. Looking at CNN's web page, they're calling it that the "no public funds for abortion" amendment will fail. And they're saying that the Obamacare amendment has 49% of the vote (with 70% in). Don't amendments now take 60%, to pass, in Florida?

And, looking at the Florida county-level maps, they're saying that only 40% of Miami-Dade is counted, so far. And only 57% of Broward. That's a whole lot of uncounted blue ballots. (And, the only reason I can think of, for why those votes aren't in, is if people are still voting, which would imply huge turnout in those counties.)

I am genuinely happy for Nate Silver. The hate he got from the conservative right was beyond amusing. Damn math.

Just saw that too. Stunned. If Obama takes that, it turns into a landslide electoral college wise.

I like all of the sparkly glowey graphics on fox. Matches my interior walls nicely. It is therefore my preferred network for the time being. At least until suspenders guy comes back
