At polling stations they are closed systems (To my understanding). So to Hack it you would have to be at the polling station.
Its cost / benefit right now. How much would each state have to pay to develop and test online voting to the point where they are 100% (or 99.9%) secure it was safe and secure? Considering it would only be used on avg once a year, how often would it have to be updated and tested to stay ahead of hackers? Now - That that entire cost (which I think would be high) and say what is the increased value? Is this what we want our state gov to be spending money on?
Me? I would oppose online voting, even if I was absolutely certain that it's completely secure.
Because, in order for online voting to work, I would have to (securely) prove who I was, and then vote.
Which means the government now has a record of how I, personally, voted.
All other religions are about "doing." Christianity is about what's already done. - Mark Dever
even in this day and age, the act of going somewhere to do something has to mean something. Taking time out of your day, planning it if necessary—it says this means something. As a whole we already take too much of this process for granted. Yes, it's feasible but should we do it? No.
Been there, done that.

It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interest." ~George Washington, Farewell Address
