“I just wanted to say to the fans … in D.C. and across the nation, they’ve been great for us, cheering us on. At away games they show up in the masses and at home they really made it feel like a home-field advantage. We said this when I was in college, ‘We got a chance to sit at the dinner table and experience success and it was a good meal. But now we want to go back to get dessert.’ We’ll be ready to get dessert next year.”

I understand hacking but there has to be some security measures to prevent hacking. My bank uses swift code for large transfers and/or if you never logged into your account from a random computer. The bank sends a text message to your phone with a 6 digit code that you need to enter on BOA website to continue with the transfer or to the next screen.
Why couldn't they implement something like that?
Sure for some that would be great, but I bet there are plenty of people that go to these polling locations and see a Kings Dominion line, turn around and walk to their car or just keep on driving by. I'm sure lots of people skip voting for this reason.
Also for those that places that do electronic voting on these touch screen voting machines, do the results get transferred to some polling headquarters via the internet or how does that work? Couldn't the be susceptible to a hacker?
But think about all the little ten year olds who could vote with an iPhone app!

If they are so lazy as to walk away from their civic duty due to inconvenience of waiting in line for a bit, do they really deserve to be counted? People today, wanting instant gratification.

It wasn't too long ago that Maryland had the ballot with the sharpie where you connected the line between the office and candidate.
