Really wish SHF would go ahead and say why he dislikes Warren so much.

I know a lot of people up in MA and most seem to like her quite a bit.

California regularly does it too. We had Schwartzenegger, Wilson and Deukmejian while the state was generally liberal.

The moderate "small government/we are competent" wing of the GOP has a strong message that resonates well , even in liberal land. It's just hard to hear much of it these days.
"The Internet is like a herd of performing elephants with diarrhea: massive, difficult to redirect, awe-inspiring, entertaining, and a source of mind-boggling amounts of excrement when you least expect it" - I wish I had said this.

I think liberals recognize the need for a strong CEO type at times. New York State and New York City both do this regularly. Liberals seem to have the ability to say, Legislatures and City Councils will set the agenda and the Governor/Mayor will make sure we don't drive ourselves into a ditch.

(I want to know too, lol)
I'm also curious to why she seems so popular on here though.
I don't know much about her, and but I know Brown was fairly well respected and considered something of model senator.
This is the first I've seen people gushing over Warren.

Her personality and charisma is pretty impressive. She's of the "I'm not gonna take any ****" crowd and she certainly gives an impressive speech. She also has a real populist message that I think most people approve of.

We'll see what happens to her in the Senate now. But she took back Ted Kennedy's seat and she could really be just like him.
What would A World Without Lawyers be like?

Well that's depressing. I hope you're wrong about that.

It just wouldn't seem right without a scumbag in the Massachusetts congressional delegation would it? Warren now fills that role.

Additionally, see the Florida got one crazy out of congress West, and put another back in, Grayson. Bet West gets back in in 2 years while Grayson gets the boot. They can take turns. (note these are different seats).

Brown was a hand model. He was worthless.

Warren probably knows more about Wall Street fraud and corruption that anyone in the country who has never slept with a prostitute. And she does not appear to be a coward when addressing these issues.

Even she would have to do a lot more than just lying about her heritage to catch up with Ted. But to be honest I really don't want someone as despicable as Ted to ever get back into the Senate, she may have serious character shortcomings, but she is definately not that bad.

She has serious character issues - reference her lying about her heritage to gain personal and financial advantages.

That's what you are going with? You think she became a nationally renowned Harvard Law School professor and consumer rights advocate because she claimed to have a Cherokee great grandma once?

Come on now she has already been exposed. Doesn't matter in Massachusetts only their politics matter (They did re-elect Ted after all, no matter what he did outside of politics).

She still used that lie for personal gain. I see you're not denying it, which was the point that her character doesn't matter, just her politics.

I'm not sure she was really lying (in the sense that she intentionally told a mistruth) and I don't think she gained anything from it.

    And her politics are awesome.
