Peanut butter spread first
Jelly spread first
Spread on half only
Spread on both sides
Cut in half
Cut in triangles
Peanut butter and honey sandwiches are highly underrated.

JIF, grape jelly (welches), Arnold's Country White bread, grab two slices, open them so they are compliments of each other when put back together (in other words, so they line up. I hate it when people flip them the wrong way and you have uneven spots), put PB on left slice, lick remaining PB off knife. Rinse knife under hot water briefly, dry with paper towel. Spread jelly with knife on right slice. Put both slices together. Do not cut the sandwich under any circumstances.
When I eat it I pull the crusts off and eat them first (I like crusts), then I eat the rest of the sandwich.
I am 24 years old and I eat PBJ for at least 5 meals per week. It is something I can make quickly and take with me along with a banana and some water on my way out the door. I love it dearly.
I'm cool with people doing it a different way though. There isn't really a correct way to have a PBJ sandwich, it's up to whatever you enjoy.
Oh and potato chips in the middle is totally acceptable if you're in the mood for it. Especially kettle cooked chips.

Sweep the leg.
Just a sidenote: eat the sandwich with the jelly on top, sometimes it can fall on your shirt, especially if you slather enough of it on.
Want to take it up about twenty notches? Substitute Eggo waffles for the toast
Oh, and I agree about the crunchy PB. Who in their right mind eats creamy? Unless you're 80 and have dentures, this is ridiculous
The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."
Peter Pan spread on 1 side, grape or Amish sour cherry jelly on the other side. No crusts, cut in triangles. I also like grilled cheese cut in triangles, the better to dip into tomato soup. Crusts stay on grilled cheese. My brother liked PB and mayo.

Try this some time, then thank me later. Butter two pieces of bread the same way you would a grilled cheese, put your peanut butter and jelly on however you like it, heat a skillet and grill the sandwich the same way you would a grilled cheese. Who cares how you cut it.
need a new sig
It takes effort.
But crispy bacon crumbles and sliced bananas on a tasted PB&J might be as close to ambrosia as a mortal can get,

Get wheat bread and jiff peanut butter also grape jelly, leave the crust on and don't cut in half; but here's the trick, slice a banana and put in middle. Chug it down with some chocolate milk BAM
Jelly ok, preserves better.
