Just saw this:

And checking the original article, I see:At around 10:45 ET the New York Post added far more to the story, including Petraeus’ actual statements, and more background on Khawam:
The father, Grayson Wolfe, was unable to see the child for more than a year, according to court documents. The judge overseeing the case cited Khawam with “outrageous conduct,” “bad faith litigation tactics,” and “illogical thinking,” awarding full custody to the father and socking the mom with $350,000 in legal fees.

And in court documents filed by Kelley's sister Natalie Khawam, she name-drops both Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island -- who both have ties to a Providence, RI, lawyer/Democratic fundraiser who loaned a whopping $300,000 to Khawam.
A spokesman for Whitehouse today that lawyer, Gerald Harrington, has dated and "may have been engaged to Khawam." Harrington has not returned a call seeking comment.
Khawam claimed in a July 12 letter to her estranged husband that she took their now 4-year-old son "on vacation last year to Martha Vineyard," where their son and "I had a great time at the DSCC [Democratic Senate Campaign Committee] event."
"Sen. John Kerry asked if [her son] would be coming again this year," Khawam wrote. "[Their son] was a superstar at the DSCC last year."
I have complete confidence that Rashida Jones will play Broadwell in whatever movie comes out of this.

This Jill Kelley woman sounds like a real piece of work. Classic case of star-****ing and materialistic self importance. Just a disgusting human being. Anyone hear her 911 call? "I'm a diplomat". No you're not. You're a ****tard.
What has happened to our Sr Military Leadership? Why in the world would they be associating with this kind of trash? That is some seriously questionable judgement. Both men should resign

I was thinking about this. I was receiving harassing emails last year. I know who was sending them. I talked it over with my neighbor who is an FBI Agent. He didn't launch an investigation. He gave me advice over beers. Wtf.

The soldiers gave three cheers as they urged their tired horses north across the uneven hills. Some of the mounts, exhausted after a week of almost continual marching, began to lag behind; others, spurred on by their enthusiastic riders, began to edge past the regiment's commander. "Boys, hold your horses," Custer cautioned; "there are plenty of them down there for us all."
Who plays General horn dog?
I recommend
Isn't Jill Kelly a porn star? she can play herself.

R.I.P royallypwned
Ha ha. luckily no.
I was tempted to do some research on her too though.
But back to the one in this story for the moment:
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_16...ays-two-sides/
The picture that emerges of Jill Kelley has two sides: One portrays a wealthy socialite who devotes a lot of her time to the military; the other is that of a woman who seeks out powerful connections and is not afraid to use them.A former military officer told us that Kelley often sought to bypass protocol officers and make direct connections with the top generals such as David Petraeus, and General John Allen. She also courted their wives. Sources describe her as a prolific emailer and caller. One admiral instructed an aide: "You'll have to manage her for me."
Living in a million-dollar home, the Kelley's seemed to perfectly blend social status, patriotism, and philanthropy. But records on file with the state of Florida show nine different court actions involving debts, mortgages, and a foreclosure.

Foreign Policy reports that Kelley is an "honorary consul" to South Korea -- a title described as symbolic, with no official responsibilities.
"She does not work as a real consul. They play a role to improve the relationship between the ROK and the U.S.," an official told the magazine. "Jill Kelley helped to get support for [the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement] and she arranged meetings between the ROK Ambassador to Washington and local businessmen when the ROK Ambassador visited the Tampa area."

Well, there was something posted a few pages ago that a least implied that this particular FBI agent has an agenda.
If I'm remembering things correctly, he apparently got ticked that the investigation wasn't generating enough ore-election dirt on Obama. Accused the people investigating of taking orders to hush it up. The quote said something along the lines of the other FBI agents dismissing this as just a product if his political views, and told him to stay away.
Unrelated, but:

Bad times for generals: Pentagon demotes 4-star General Ward
In more bad news about U.S. generals, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who is in Australia for talks, announced on Wednesday he was demoting a retiring four-star Army general for wasting taxpayer money on extravagant trips and would seek to recoup tens of thousands of dollars from him.

2 reasons come to mind
1) Mr. Shirtless was obviously trying to "Get his" from Mrs Kelly (and I swear if she ends up with a reality show....). Somehow his idiot bosses went along with this.
2) Bureaucratic turf wars is why this got to the head of national intelligence. The FBI with juicy stuff on the D/CIA? Come on, this is a multi decade battle between these 2 agencies and any chance the FBI gets to **** the CIA (See the mid 1990s investigations) they go full bore and embarrass the agency.

FBI investigating how Petraeus biographer Broadwell obtained classified files
The FBI is making a new push to determine how a woman who had an affair with retired Gen. David H. Petraeus when he was CIA director obtained classified files, part of an expanding series of investigations in a scandal that also threatens the career of the United States’ top military commander in Afghanistan.
Senior law enforcement officials said that a late-night seizure on Monday of boxes of material from the North Carolina home of Paula Broadwell, a Petraeus biographer whose affair with him led to his resignation last week, marks a renewed focus by investigators on sensitive material found in her possession.
“The issue of national security is still on the table,” one U.S. law enforcement official said. Both Petraeus and Broadwell have denied to investigators that he was the source of any classified information, officials said.
The surprise move by the FBI follows assertions by U.S. officials that the investigation had turned up no evidence of a security breach — a factor that was cited as a reason the Justice Department did not notify the White House before last week that the CIA director had been ensnared in an e-mail inquiry. At the same time, key lawmakers signaled their intent to scrutinize the Justice Department’s handling of an inquiry that focused initially on a potential conflict between two private people but quickly morphed into an examination of the e-mail of two top national security officers.
