We have made more mediocre QBs look better before. I wish everyday could be a bye week so I don't have to have my day ruined on Sunday and be mad as hell going into classes the next day.

I look forward to the bye week because I don't have to see us lose, yet I keep coming back even though I know it will end up badly. How terrible is that? Sounds like an abusive relationship.

    Damn you, Redskins.

I watched parts of the game, and it looked like the Eagles snuck in Archuleta and Doughty in their secondary.
Their front 4 made a very mediocre running attack look good, and I hope Morris is licking his chops; this could be a 200 yd game for him...

Did you see the final TD was a fumble by the QB into the endzone. Anything can happen on the field, however in your head it is going to be all bad. It may or may not be a massacre one way or the other, I will however wait to watch the game and not project negative possibilities on my TEAM.

I'm starting to think that when the Skins offered the trade to the Rams we should have thrown in a number of fans as well. While I might not expect a win on any given day I sure as hell would never look forward to a loss, as seems to be the case with some of these "fans" posting in here. I mean damn. I can just picture a Eagles fan coming to OUR site and seeing a post like this, and thinking damn not only has the head shed given up (based on posts here not my personal thought), but their fans have given up as well.

Honestly if you are sick of the losses or can't bring some team passion into your posts maybe it's time to take a step back and go watch golf.

RG3 is a better QB and will lead us to a victory.

It is so weird to have Redskins fans and Eagles fans arguing about which team sucks the most...and they are claiming it's their own team.

I will not quit on this team until we are eliminated from the playoffs. And after that, I will not quit on them. I am hoping that somehow the bye week, Meriweather's return, and some soul searching will allow us to play with a little heart down the stretch.

Our guys will get up for Philly. We will win. Hopefully that will restore a little bit of confidence in our locker room and on our beloved ES.
Damn right! We win next week, we are 2 games out of first with 6 remaining and a game against the giants, and 4 out of our last 6 being division games. There is a shot and i will be cheering until my throat bleeds that we can pull this out and right this ship.

I"m just going to go along with this and just say that if we had the Raiders coming up, Terrell Pryor would look like a pro bowler

Knee Jerk reaction? I find it amazing that those of you with Burgandy sunglasses on, fault us fans who speak from reallity and fact. We have been subjected to watching crap ball from our beloved Redskins for over 20 years and there are some glaring truths( I would like to use a better word to describe this but decorum wont allow such language) . 1) This team is playing like crap on all 3 sides of the ball; offense, defense, and special teams (except cobra kai) 2) We have a terrible home record. 3) We have been beat by rookies many many times and by teams with worse win-loss records then ours. Not only beat but soundly making the rookes look like seasoned vets or making the teams look like they are on there way to the playoffs. Say and think what you want homers, but the simple truth is this team has a horrible track record and we nay sayers unfortunately have been corrrct time and time again. Until we starty winning regularly, trouncing those rookies, whipping those teams with lossing records I will always have a negative feeling going into the next game. I love the redskins and as I have NFL Ticket I will watch them every week even if it means biting my nails off, being sick to my stomach, not being able to eat and just being in a awful mood that my wife knows to leave me alone. The only thing you can argue against them is value, that defense IS overpaid for their production but is still better than ours.
Yeah, no. They are not a better defensive squad. There's no "sugar coating" needed, their defense is just as bad as ours, if not worse. Their coverage is just as bad, their tackling is worse, and they have a worse pass rush than us.

They were a better defensive unit, before they fired Castillo. Now they've just fallen off a cliff.

Our record against rookie QB's in the last decade is pretty much flawless in the wrong direction and we haven't exactly been great at home lately. I still am holding out hope that we see a different attitude/demeanor in our team on the field Sunday. But if not, I see an ugly game between two struggling teams this weekend.

Our blue print when facing a rookie quarterback remains intact.

Do not pressure him, do not try to rattle him, in fact, take no risks whatsoever, no blitzes, and not even a stunt in obvious passing downs.

We believe they will simply self destruct facing a soft zone all day, because they lack NFL experience.

I sure hope we wise up and realize taking this approach in the past, has failed miserably. And, rookie QB's are leaving their mark on NFL defenses more and more, its no secret. Holding a clipboard on faux IR for 3 years is so Gibbs I.

I watched this kid a little bit yesterday... he seems to move well in the pocket and he also seems to be pretty decent at getting guys up to the line and moving the offense. He has a lot of weapons... but he himself was not overly impressive.

We'll have to see how this defense comes out of the bye week. We'll know very early on what kind of game it will be, in my opinion.
