I disagree with Coach doesn't hesitate to reverse decisions. Cooley was a no brainier.. ONLY back due to injury. With that said.. AA knows the scheme... some of the playbook.. Anyone know the stats on Briscoe? It does seem that he's dropped more than he's caught. (Nope, I don't know the # of times he's been targeted vs. catches,)
Bring AA back. Can't be worse that Bank nor Briscoe. Anyway, it won't happen. I don't see Coach doing it.

Seriosuly cut banks and sign AA Tom.
To be honest I didn't even know he signed with Jacksonville after he got cut by the Phins, and I follow and read lots of football.
Having said that if he couldn't stick with the Jags & Phins after us, he probably doesn't bring too much to the table.
Thanks to Soup for the sig!

I'm still high on Briscoe, I think he needs more consistent opportunities. The sample size isn't much to go on. He seems like he'd be effective for the fade in the endzone. . . . that is, if we ever threw the ball into the endzone. And he's only 23. If they cut anybody, it should be Banks, IMO.

Briscoe has had a few drops (that were well defended, IIRC) and a few clutch catches. Very small sample size. He beat out AA in camp, why cut him now?
I'd actually like to give AA another shot - with the recent butterfingers syndrome going on with the wideouts here, could it really hurt? To AA's defense, he did have Blaine Gabbert throwing to him...

Sign Armstrong. Cut Banks. Play Briscoe more. Use Robinson whenever you can't help yourself and have to run a gimmicky offensive play.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

I would also sign him to a one year vet min contract. Let's give RG3 someone to pass the ball too.
Steelers released Alameda Ta'amu. He was supposed to be the eventual replacement for Casey Hampton. He's had off-field issues but if Banks is to be cut, it should go to this guy...

I'm on board. Banks is a waste. Nothing added to this team from him.
#2 you don't have to be a super star to be able to contribute. The reason AA was good here was because McNabb gave him a chance throwing deep. Grossman and Beck couldn't get the ball down field to capatlize on AA's strengths. So when we tried to turn him into a possession receiver it failed because AA is a situational receiver not a possession receiver. We have no deep threat but a lot of

I don't think bringing back a guy you cut is admitting you made a mistake. It's usually out of necessity.
