Wow, this is the dude they traded up to get with us in the 4th round if I am not mistaken. Go get him! Why not?
Looks like he cleared waivers and the Steelers resigned him. Sounds as if he's still facing the charges for his drunk driving arrest, anyway. Would have been nice to pick him up. Off the field issues aside, my mouth waters at the thought of any Steeler lineman coming here...

Why? Paying him would further impinge upon any money we have saved this year and what would it get us? Another never-was receiver for a season that is 2 more losses from being over.

Save the money for next year, maybe we can afford a real safety or corner.

I can't imagine too many guys want to come here...Washington is where receivers go to die.

Get Brandon Banks out of here! Period! He's garbage, the last play in the Panthers game should tell you all that you need to know. I've pulled for the kid from day 1 but sorry, the gimmick is over. I'd rather have Armstrong on the roster. He plays Special Teams and is at least a real receiver. HTTR!

If they are probing him for intel, the good news is that he only knows one pass route.....

It might work to our advantage if he convinces them that we only have 9s in our playbook. We'll have 15-20 yards whenever we want it as their DBs will sprint back on snap.
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

I'm still high on Briscoe, I think he needs more consistent opportunities. The sample size isn't much to go on. He seems like he'd be effective for the fade in the endzone. . . . that is, if we ever threw the ball into the endzone. And he's only 23. If they cut anybody, it should be Banks, IMO.
why does everybody think briscoe's age is a good thing? he's terrible and cant get on the field for a reason. banks is also young (24), but nobody mentions this.

BTW I think both should be cut. put aldrick back there on returns, bring up tom compton from the PS and see if he's any better than tyler polumbus (cant be that hard!)
