We saw for a few quarters what a decent safety could do for this defense. This issue needs to be addressed in the offseason badly

Unfortunately, with our luck, our guys who have been injured.... normally get injured again at the beginning of the following season, ex. Orakpo, J. Brown, etc. I'm all for signing two safeties in the offseason and not relying on Meriweather to be 'healthy' next season.
