It's not just the stats. It's the heart he has. I hope that the media shows that he came BACK in the game to throw that beautiful pass on one foot that got us to the red zone. Then the pain was unbearable but for him to do that makes me feel this guy deserves ye award, not just because of his play but because of his heart.

It's a competition, but between Griffin and Wilson.

Luck's only in it because the media anointed him the next Manning before he even played his last year of college, let alone before his first NFL game. A lot of them don't like non-traditional QBs, which Griffin is, so guys like Jaws, Sando, etc., look for any excuse to not give him his due credit.

The Colts game showed the truth, which is that the Colts are winning in spite of Luck, not because of him.

    Repeat after me:

Andrew Luck leads the league in interceptions.
Andrew Luck leads the league in interceptions.
Andrew Luck leads the league in interceptions.

You absolutely hit the nail on the head with this comment.
Wilson has played really well and is a great fit in Seattle. I never agreed with him falling to the 3rd round because he was 1st round talent and it was obvious. Just goes to show scouts put too much emphasis on measurables.

Wilson might give RG3 some trouble in the race, but I think it is a little too late for Wilson to pull it out. I think RG3 has been better this year and has just been absolutely lights out though Wilson should be getting more press since he is playing at a very good level. I think RG3 nudges him out for the rookie of the year award, the win streak and playoff hunt is obviously helping Griffin's case.

I just haven't been impressed with Luck at all in a general sense, and I agree completely with the anointing comment because he has been getting a pass for real ugly performances this year. It just goes to show that winning cures all ailments.

Correction: Luck is co-leader in interceptions with Drew Brees.

By the way, what happened with Wilson? He was 7/13 for 148 and 1/1 TD/INT. Then I guess Flynn came in? I was watching the Giants game and missed what happened. Did they just pull him because they were eating the Cardinals alive, or did he get hit or what?

Wilson was handed the victory by his defense and the ****tiness of John Skelton. The Cardinals were down by 51 points by the end of the third quarter.

    RG3, Doug Martin, Alfred Morris.

Morris deserves it, but I have a hunch RG3 gets it for limping back into the game. Voters eat that up.

They usually have 5 nominees right? RGIII, Wilson, Morris, Martin, and probably Luck again.

Wilson should win it. 100 yards on 13 carries, 2 TDs, and 4 KRs for 227 yards and another TD. RGIII probably the runner up. Morris and Martin about even, Morris had a fumble, but Martin didn't get the win.

Today's win will go down in RG3 lore. His heart, courage, leadership and skills set up the winning TD. For him to come back from the training room to cheer on his teammate is the stuff of which legends are made. Those intangibles inspired the entire team to victory. In 45 years of watching the Skins, I feel this is one of the biggest wins ever-and it is the beginning of our return to glory! HTTR

I thought Grifffin was pretty human today prior to the injury. The guts he showed was impressive though

While RG3 didn't have his best game, what's lost in all the hoopla is that if he didn't get hurt, it's very likely he leads us to the game tying drive(and subsequent win)anyway, further cementing his already legend-like status. Weren't we already inside the 20 before he left for good?

He was definitely hesitant and, at times, looked to be playing scared throughout the day after the 1st quarter. Held the ball too long and was high or low on a few throws. But that last drive was great, especially those last two throws on what was basically one knee.

We were inside the 25 I believe. Good enough spot to leave in the backup's hands. He got us there on one leg. Dude's just amazing.

rg3 would have cemented his rookie legend legacy if he scored the winning TD with a bum knee.

Seriously, I've been telling friends, and him playing despite the sprain showed it, he throws as well on one foot, or off his back foot, as most franchise QBs throw when fully set with their feet.

He's going to develop into heck of a pocket passer in a few years.
