Yeah I agree. Alf might have people throwing his name into the bowl after that performance. That last run was straight up man mode.
i cannot believe this dude is a rookie. the best qb play i have ever seen from a redskin, bar none. and i remember very clearly mark rypien and joe theismann. not old enough to recall baugh or sonny, i admit. but this guy .. to trump rypien and theismann, in superbowl seasons, as a ROOK. it's absurd.

He wasn't a monster on the stat sheet today, but wow was he impressive. Can't say he can't will his team for a win anymore, can you?
He is already the best QB we have had in my lifetime, and some change.
nevermind...

I get tired of watching the media jump on the bandwagon of whoever they just got done watching at the moment. They can keep all the awards...give me the W's and the Lombardi Trophy. I wouldn't trade RGIII for any one of the other rookies.
I already said "I" don't consider him an MVP candidate. Just find it funny that some of you guys don't even think he's in the ROY discussion lol. Talk about homerism. And I'll repeat myself again. I've never said Luck should win ROY over Luck. It's amusing though how some here can't give Luck any credit. I think I've now heard every excuse imagineable for why the Colts are 8-4.

Nor would I. But I'm sure Colts wouldn't want any other QB either. It's great watching all these guys, even Wilson.

Luck certainly deserves some credit, and deserves to be in RoY consideration, but he definitely loses to Griffin in terms of stats. Last year showed wins aren't the most important thing, so IMO the Colts record doesn't even factor into this.
Cinci was 4-12 in 2010, in 2011 they ended up in the playoffs, and Dalton still loses. His W/L story is similar to Luck's, though Luck's might be a little more impressive at the end of the day. But still.
We've already managed to surpass last year's record, and tie the Panther's record for last year. Basically, I just can't see a good way to count record towards the award when Newton ran away with it last year.
So I guess I won't discount the Colts being at 8-4, but it weighs very minimally on the whole debate.
Rick Reilly might need a police escort out of FedEx.![]()
"Watching RG3 today is like watching Jordan vs. the Blazers years ago. Waiting for him to shrug his shoulders as he runs by cameras." - John Keim, November 22, 2012. Thanksgiving at Dallas
BTW Fred Morris and and Doug Martin now tied in rushing yards.
Doug Martin
236 -1106 yds 4.7 avg 9 tds
Alfred "Fred" Morris
230-1106 yds 4.8 avg 7 tds
The funny thing when saying that Luck has played better than Griffin, Reilly uses the Colts 8-4 record all the while ignoring the schedule they've played. It's almost as if he's sitting there with his fingers in his ears going "la la la I can't hear you" when making his argument for Luck being better. If you're an NFL analyst and you honestly believe Luck has outplayed RGIII this year than you should probably lose your job or at least your credibility.

I am told by Twitter that Steve Young just smashed a bottle in Rick Reilly's face and called him his little *****. I demand video or audio evidence of this incident.
