And if I hear the injury bs one more ******* time....I remember the play on Monday where Osi hit RGIII and Gruden freaking out. When in reality, EVERY SINGLE QUARTERBACK IN THE LEAGUE TAKES THE SAME HIT EVERY ******* WEEK.
    Thank you.

How many hard hits did he take when running the ball last week? One in the 4th when he was trying to stay in bounds. That's it, right?

The biggest hits he is taking right now are in the pocket, b/c our oline is not great at pass protection. That used to be something QBs were complimented on, standing tough in the pocket, throwing the ball knowing you were about to get popped in the mouth, then getting right up.

But honestly at this point, I really don't care if he gets ROTY are not. We have a franchise QB. Makes me grin just thinking about it. All I wanted going into this season was hope for the future. We have so much more than that it's crazy. I'm more than satisfied. ROTY is meaningless. We have multiple winning seasons and playoff appearances to look forward to. ROTY and MVP and pro bowls are consolation prizes

That was one of the biggest plays in the whole game!! If he goes out of bounds, the clock stops. He toughed it out for a W. But of course no one wants to give him credit for trying to win...no, HE IZ GONNA GIT KILT. DAT WAZ STOOPID!

It's gonna be a tough battle. Wilson is looking pretty darn good these days. And that win over Chi in OT really pushes his case. Then you got the diehards who relentlessly push for Luck. My opinion is that RGIII makes everything look so easy that he just doesn't get enough love. Whoever gets is will have earned it.

I can see and maybe even agree with Wilson winning it over RG3, but not Luck. Luck's stats look like Grossman's stats.
Eli Manning will be 31 years old when the 2012 season starts.
Michael Vick will be 32 years old when the 2012 season starts.
Tony Romo will be 32 years old when the 2012 season starts.
ROBERT GRIFFIN III will be 22 years old when the 2012 season starts.

Right. Luck currently leads the NFL in turnovers (16 interceptions, 5 lost fumbles, 21 TOs total)

Luck is 29th among starting QBs with a QB Rating of 76.

5 of the Colts 8 wins this year were against teams with losing records.

I'm sorry, but you can't lead the league in turnovers and interceptions and have a QB rating that puts you in the bottom 10% of QBs in the NFL and get ROtY...you just can't

I'm beginning to see the 3rd and long argument for Luck being batted around.

that too. I mean seriously, if you take one look at Lucks' stats (55% completion, 17 TDs to 16 INTs, QB rating of 76), the first thing that comes to mind is "yuck."

If it wasn't for Detroit's EPIC meltdown this past week where they let Luck become a hero, i doubt we'd be having this discussion at all.

C'mon, man. Dalton not winning ROY last year had NOTHING to do with how good the Bengals defense was. It had everything to do with the fact that Newton broke nearly every rookie record for a QB, imagineable.

Luck puts his team in a hole every single game, "he is throwing it more thus he is carrying his team", really? That is your analysis? The same people that spew that bull**** are the same people that say RGIII is going to get "figured out", whatever the hell that means.

Andrew Luck is very good, but I'm really tired hearing how he's taken a 2 win team to 8-4.....the Colts had Dan Orlovsky last year....plus has anyone looked at the Colts schedule this year? they have one good win (Packers).

Ask any defensive player/coach who they would rather face...I'm willing to bet that 90% would rather face Luck

Dude there were plenty of arguments by people pushing Dalton over Cam despite Cams records and those arguments were mainly aligned with Dalton "leading" them to the playoffs. I'm simply pointing out that those arguments fell apart when people realized the Bengals D did more for their record than Dalton did.

Basically just in the last 3 years:

These rookie QBs were better than Luck's rookie year statistically.

    RGIII
    Wilson
    Newton
    Dalton
    Possibly Bradford

And if you extend to 2009, definitely Ryan and probably Flacco.

I was almost in favor of Dalton getting it last year, myself. But it was simply too hard to overlook all the records Newton broke. And honestly, in the eyes of those voting, he probably had already won the award after those first two weeks (back to back 400+ yards passing games).

Again, I say the fact that the Bengals D was decent didn't much matter. In fact, I'd say that Dalton having Green last year actually worked against him in the voting. A lot of those voting probably felt like Green was probably more responsible for the Bengals success last year than Dalton.
