Well, RGIII has the rookie rushing record, and if he can get a few good games going, and end with more TDs than Luck, he could easily break the rookie QB passing TD record, which I think is 22.

And if he continues playing as efficiently as he has, he might just snag rookie QB rating record set by Big Ben. That's at 98.1, and RGIII is currently at 104.4.

It's true that wins factor in, but they are far from the most important thing. A lot of RotY have come from 8-8 teams. You don't see 3-13 teams, but if we make 8-8 I think the wins argument falls away very quickly.

And honestly, wins and yards is all Luck has to hang his hat on. And yards aren't really a good indicator, and we're closing the wins gap.

Wilson is a closer candidate, but he's still not as good.

The Rookie Record for TD passes is 26 set by Peyton Manning in 1998. It'd be tough to break with 4 games left.

He could bust out some 4 TD games again, so you never know

He tossed out 9 in 3 games, I'd say he still has a good chance :P

Yup, wrong number. Still possible though. He's 9 short, but he torched Phi and Dal for 8 in two weeks, and we've still got them left to go...

    You never know.

Not sure if wins is even a factor, unless you also believe that Matt Ryan and Matt Schaub are the two best QBs in the NFL (sorry Rodgers, Brady, Manning and Brees)

I called the HOF in Canton to inquire about the Andrew Luck jersey and cleats on display. The nice receptionist said they don't have anything of Luck's yet.

Andrew Luck fans are correct, though...He HAS turned his team around...usually they're turned around chasing the other team after he threw an INT.

Wait guys! I figured out why Luck is the MVP!

He has the same number of INTs as Drew Brees.
He has been sacked the same number of times as Tony Romo.
And has about the same Completion % as...Mark Sanchez!

See, when you compare him to all those greats and future HOFers, clearly he's the best player!

Yup, and I trust them infinitely more than Colin Cowherd or Matt Williamson. Checkmate.
