Throwing the ball a lot doesn't mean you're good.

Luck: 627 pass attempts for 4,374 yards
    RG3: 393 pass attempts for 3,200 yards

If RG3 had passed as much as Luck, he would have 5,105 yards.

I imagine I would average about a yard per pass as a quarterback in the NFL. If I threw 5,000 times, I would have soundly beaten Andrew Luck's record. I probably would have had more touchdowns and fewer interceptions than him, too...

I saw an article online somewhere saying Thursday (stumbled across it browsing, but can't find it now); to avoid playoff performances having an effect on voting.

Why shouldn't they be a factor? High pressure situations foster greatness.

I'm more convinced than ever that RG3 is going to miss out and light it up on Sunday, making the award look foolish.

That's precisely what I was hoping for. RG3 gets the ROY snub and lights up the playoffs to lead us to the SB. He absolutely deserves it though.

I'd rather that be the case than Wilson missing out and lighting US up.

Luck isnt even in the discussion anymore. Its between RG3 and Wilson. RG3 dominated through first 13 games, Wilson last 8 or 9. Wilson had much better defense to help him while both had a healthy running game.

    Here are my rankings.

    1. RG3
    2. Wilson
    3. Morris
    4. Luck
    5. Martin

Congratulations to Alfred Morris! Week 17 ROW.

I'm surprised at how little the difference in the yardage RG3 is responsible for and Andrew Luck's. With 34.2 attempts per game (passing and rushing) he has 267.6 yards a game. Luck had 289.5 yards a game on 43 attempts a game. Essentially, Luck doesn't really look better as far as yardage is concerned.

So AlMo has as many ROTW awards as Andrew Luck.

I can already smell the butthurt of Colts fans.

So just as a bit of interesting trivia for those that want something to say to Russell Wilson fans that continually use the success of his team as an argument for him getting ROY and having the better potential over RG3 and/or Luck...

Can you name the other rookie QB of the past decade who won a playoff game and had:

    1. A top 5 defense
    2. A top 5 run offense
    3. Multiple pro-bowl offensive linemen
