Has anyone looked at past offensive rookie of the year winners to see how much is based on impact to the team versus stats? To me this isn't about impact to the team like the MVP. It's the 'Offensive' award and should be based on stats.

I think the whole Seahawk team is playing lights out right now- I wish our D played with that level of intensity.
Okay but back to the ROY race - I think Wilson has the edge right now when you look at strength of schedule and overall performance, especially the last few weeks and the opponents. The guy is putting up big numbers and last night against S.F. was no exception. 42-13? Are you kidding me. And when you factor in his 3rd round draft pick status, his size, it is fairly damn impressive.
So Luck turned around the Colts and RG3 turned around the Skins and well Wilson turned around the Seahawks.
I am trying NOT to be a homer here and I just think right now Wilson deserves it by a slight margin.
I could see the Seahawks getting to the SB - they are putting away teams with high scores and their D is intense. Last night was scary the way they played. Relentless.
Next week for RG3 is huge. If he has an excellent game against the Cowgirls then once again it is a toss up.
VOTE FOR RG3 - WEEK16!!!!

Didn't see a thread on it so I will just put it here.![]()
RG3 should win. Plus he has his own Christmas Carol

Russell Wilson is more deserving for ROW.
But I'm still voting for Griff.

Voting early, voting often.

RIP royallypwned.
"I'm a big RGIII fan," Vick told USA Today before the game. "He reminds me of what I do. I'm the originator of everything that's transpired in the league with the style of quarterback. It makes it gratifying to me."
LOOOL. Whatever you say Vick. To bad RG3 is better than you have ever been in your entire career.

We got some uppity Colts fans who need a good smackdown.
Also, ignore the graphic, it's biased by design. (Most wins by a QB picked #1 leading right off, yeah, let's ignore Wilson's 10 win season in favor of a big picture of Luck, no mental trickery here).

Except we're doing more of a Steve Young with some college concepts thing, Vick doesn't even enter the conversation.

Some of those Colts fans are real *******s. I'm defenetly sensing some racist undertones in their arguments towards RG3 and Russell Wilson.
"Running QBs"
"Gimmick QBs"
Can't read defenses"
"simple playbooks"
"luck has had to master a more complicated system"

I want RGIII to win, but the pragmatist says he'll get a bump and pay if he does and then that'll really hurt the time because we got screwed by Mara. So, I'm conflicted.
I think most experts are going to pick Luck...

You're just realizing that 80% of the criticism of RGIII, Cam and now Wilson is purely race-based? Remember when people were projecting RGIII as a WR before his senior year?
The entire undertone of the criticism of those QBs can be summed up as follows:
"Those goddamnned ******s are too dumb to play quarterback in the NFL, how dare someone suggest that those goddammned monkey ******s be better than a clean-cut white boy like Andrew Luck!" It's race, pure and simple.
