Sounds like he never got a chance to show his stuff in Cinci, what with getting injured last year and then getting cut surprisingly this year in favor of Burflict. Sounds like a sound tackler. He'll probably get a chance to show his stuff, hoping he does well.

I actually REALLY liked Muckelroy at Texas... I had him as a 4th rounder on my draft board that year. He was a Captain and a leader on that defense.
That said... another Texas linebacker... he's bound to tear a pectoral muscle.

That draft video sounds a lot like Keenan Robinson. It's not too often there are guys available at the end of November that are actually exciting.
He might be a guy to stick around next year and provide some more depth. Never hurts to pick up a potential nickel linebacker.

potentially Murphy too. I mean he had one good year then injury then cut and had to try to catch onto another team.

So we replaced a Redskins LB who suffered a torn pectoral with a LB from Texas who played with another Redskins LB that suffered from a torn pectoral?

True... but his price tag would be minimal. Worth the risk IMO.
