BEAT DALLAS!
I'm not too concerned. The Redskins can win all of their remaining games. We can't worry about other teams. We need to focus on ourselves. If we do that, we'll be fine.
All the teams we needed to lose morning games did (I'm giving 5 spot to NFC north pack or bears). Bum Bum Buuuuum Bum Bum Go Pack Go!
Oh, my bad my dudes. I don't know where I got it into my head that we were on the road in that game.
Joe Flacco and the Ravens are pretty bad on the road, very beatable. In that case I am a bit more confident, but it is a long and tough road ahead where we can't drop any games. If the universe aligns and the Redskins really want it, it's possible. But how many times has the universe aligned to help us? Maybe once or twice in the last century?
Also, a wild card is pretty much out of the question. I can't believe how the Colts get to play the easiest schedule ever. Titans twice, Browns, Jags twice, Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Lions, and Chiefs. Some things just aren't fair.
Based on who they play, Vikings finish at 7-8 wins, Seahawks finish at around 8-9 wins, Bucs Finishes at around 8-9(probably 9 wins if Falcons decide not to play starters for long or at all). Saints record is actually the most difficult to predict as they could conceivably get 10 wins but finish probably at 9 wins. All this means is that 9 wins for us could get the last spot and we have tie-breakers on these teams except Seattle.

We're only a game back and we have the tiebreaker over every team.
Just sayin...

I'm not much for looking into the future. All I know is I want to see the next endzone dance for Aldrick Robinson. That last one was hoochish.

I'm more worried about the Ravens than I am the Vagiants. We do have home field advantage for both games which is a plus. Joe Flacco helps fill the empty void in our secondary which is another plus. The only way we lose against the Ravens is if we have a record number of drops like we did against the steelers. I'd really like for us to stick it to that Philly Eagle, John Harbrough
so, I just saw this thread after posting about this in Around the NFL game thread.... and what I am posted makes the assumption that the Giants will lose tonight. It is more of a focus on next week's games and the games of all the WC contenders ahead of us.
So, even if he Giants win tonight, we could be in the lead for the last WC spot and only 1 game back of NY if all the above happens.
A look at next weeks games... (all are facts below if we win next week)
And it's looking like EVERY TEAM that is ahead of us for the race for the LAST Wild Card spot plays ON THE ROAD and against teams that they SHOULD lose to and if they all lose then we should jump ahead of ALL them in the standings, SO conceivably, after next weekend, we could be in 1st place in the division AND have the edge for the last Wild Card spot should we need it.
NYG @ Wash. (we win and take over 1st in division)
Seattle @ Chicago (Chicago wins, we move ahead of Seattle)
Tampa @ Denver (Denver wins, we move ahead of Tampa)
Minnesota @ Green Bay (Green Bay wins, we move ahead of Minn)
Saints @ Atlanta (even if Saints win today, if they lose next week we move ahead of the Saints)
