Haha yeah.. I've never felt this confident about a Redskins QBs and offense abilities to find ways to score. This must be what it felt like to root for this team back in the 80s.

I'd really like for us to stick it to that Philly Eagle, John Harbrough
What's this home field advantage you speak of?

It's very simple. We are 2-1 in the NFC East, the Giants are 2-2. If Green Bay wins tonight, we control our own destiny to get in with a division title.

    Ravens W
    Eagles W
    Cowboys L

9-7 final record....win the east on a tiebreaker over the Gnats....host Seattle in playoffs.
    Lol. More like:

    Giants - L
    Ravens - L
    Brows - L
    Eagles - W
    Cowboys - L

People think our historically bad defense is going to hold up down the stretch? Please, we nearly gave the game away on Thurs.

Ravens are incredibly overrated this year. Their offense is pathetic and their run D is weak. That's a winnable game for us.

Bleak? You mean realistic? We have the 28th ranked D in the league. Our offense isn't as prolific as the Pats or Packers of last year who also had bad defenses to make up for it. We win 2 more games max.

Weird. Didn't think two weeks would make people forget about games like the Panthers so quickly.

Our D has been making improvements and they're not as bad as they were at the beginning of the season. Our offense is clicking. Just saying, you're the only person around here that's not all-in on "paloff" mode.

Then why even watch the games? I'm sure you were saying this in '05 and '07.

Our D has adjusted well after the bye, Dallas had a lucky long Bryant TD that Wilson almost deflected and their other WR got away with a major hold on, and it was actually a poorly timed INT that let Dallas get a score to even make it close, and Bryant got away with pushing off on 4th down and still had to make a ridiculous catch.

This Redskins team has the ability to beat any team left on our schedule. The defense has made some great scheme adjustments over the bye and players are performing better as well. This terrible defense dominated the Eagles despite people, probably you too, claiming Foles would tear us up as a rookie, and then held Dallas to 3 in the first half and only gave up stuff when Dallas got lucky and was playing desperate.

Besides, the offense is great and Garcon and Robinson are back and doing great. The Saints don't have a great D, nor do the Packers, but they have excellent offenses and don't quit, nor do the Redskins currently.

We had Joe Gibbs in '05 and '07, who's capable of moving men far more successfully than Shanny. I did have more faith back then, but not until we had at least a 3 game streak going. Hell, the last 3 game winning streak we had was in 2008 with Zorn. Let's beat the Giants before people start thinking we're on a "run" for crying out loud.

Why watch the games, btw? Because of course I HOPE we run to the playoffs and will cheer with the rest of you guys, I just don't actually think it will happen. Not with this defense, not with Shanny, not with this snake-bitten organization.

I respect your pessimism, it's been well earned over the years. But for the sake of this thread, about us making a playoff run, do you think you could not post in it until you've joined us on the bandwagon? We're all drinking the Kool-Aid and don't like Debbie's spoiling our fun.

Gotcha! The amount of empty seats available to opposing fans is pretty unfortunate. With Baltimore being right around the corner, there will be a decent amount of Ratbirds running around. But I feel like with a win against the Giants, more Skins fans would show up against the Ravens.

I miss RFK. It was smaller, but allowed for more Skins fans & it was always packed & loud as hell.

The Ravens play at home too.
Going down I-95 only 45 miles away is hardly a away game for them.

Just dont finish in last place or under .500 and I'll be fine. As long as we don't hand the rams a top 10 pick I'll consider this season a success. But with the way Baltimore and the giants are looking, running the table could be an option. Knowing the skins tho we'll beat them and lose to the browns.
