Well, if the Packers lose, and it's looking that way, it makes next week all the more important. If we lose we're 5-7, with the Giants 8-4 and almost certainly out of reach of the division title. We could still try for 9-7 and a wildcard, but I think that's a long shot. Whoever of Green Bay and Chicago that doesn't win the North is taking the first wildcard, and all four of Minn, TB, NO, and Seattle would have to fail to hit 10-6.
With them all dropping games today that certainly helps, but I feel like there's a good chance of one of them running the table near the end and going 10-6.
Alternatively, if we win, Giants are 7-5, we're 6-6, and we own the tiebreakers. It becomes a game of chicken when if the Giants lose we win take over the division, provided we keep winning.
Long story short, even if the Giants win tonight, if we win out we're still in good shape. If we beat the Giants but drop a different game, we're in slightly better shape, but still a huge long shot.
