Giants looked like the SB champs tonight. Right about now is when they always get on a roll. It's going to be extremely tough to beat them Monday, and equally as tough to beat them for the NFC East title.

I'm not saying the Skins can't make the playoffs, but don't sleep on the Giants.

Giants are the streakiest team in football. There's very little to "expect" from them. What I do expect is for RG3 to be sensational.

OK so 4 out of 5 went for us this week. I did not expect the Packers to win at the Meadowlands, especially with the key injuries they had. Going into Week 13, the Monday night game is the lynch pin. To be honest, I think we are going to take the G-men out.

Here is what else needs to happen, to increase our chances:

Seattle to lose 1 (we own the tie breaker, Conference record, they are 4-4 right now, we are 5-4), Vikings and Buccaneers to lose 1 and for Giants to lose to us at home next week and lose another somewhere in their schedule and for the Redskins to run the table.
The Saints are now under us in the hunt (plus will likely lose 2 more games on their schedule).
The Cowboys, also under us, will likely lose 2 according to their schedule (also because their organization is in chaos).

    Redskins Schedule:
Washington Redskins - Giants, Ravens, Browns, Eagles and Cowboys

    Other teams in contention schedules:
Seattle Seahawks - Bears, Cardinals, Bills, 49ers and Rams
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Broncos, Eagles, Saints, Rams and Falcons
Minnesota Vikings - Packers, Bears, Rams, Texans and Packers
New Orlean Saints - Falcons, Giants, Buccaneers, Cowboys and Panthers
Chicago Bears - Seahawks, Vikings, Packers, Cardinals and Lions
Green Bay Packers - Vikings, Lions, Bears, Titans and Vikings

    Other NFC East Schedules:
New York Giants - Redskins, Saints, Falcons, Ravens and Eagles
Dallas Cowboys - Eagles, Bengals, Steelers, Saints and Redskins

Best events for Week 13 to help us:
    Redskins win
Chicago wins (Seattle's Conference record is 4-4 right now, we are 5-4 we would win the tie breaker)
Green Bay wins (Green Bay would have to lose 3 games to lose their WC spot)
    Denver wins

Now ultimately, I would love to see the Redskins take the Division outright.
However, I am looking at it from a perspective to give us the most opportunity to be in the post-season.

Our boys need to be as focused and prepared as RG3 will be next Monday for this game. It's going to take everything we've got to put down the Giants, they're riding high on emotion and are back in the zone.

As such, we need Haslett to continue with the stronger defense we have seen for the past two weeks. I do NOT want another MNF debacle.

I agree with this, but the real problem is gonna be the Giants pass rush. KS needs to have a great gameplan to neutralize that pass rush.

He does have a great gameplan. It's name is Alfred Morris.

Word. Part of me is hoping that the extended time could possibly allow for Jamaal Brown to return to the game, but we need Trent to get healthy so he can keep JPP and Umenyiora at bay.

Kyle has been on a roll though with the playcalling, I think he's got a good chance at crafting a good scheme. Haslett worries me more so.

The best way to slow down a strong pass rush is to run the ball. The Packers had zero offensive balance tonight, so the Giants were able to just tee off.

I agree, but it's gonna take more than that. The Giants can score points, and will against the skins defense. KS is going to have to get real creative with the passing game and play action.

Huh, for some reason I could have sworn they were talking about that he was gimpy in the Dallas game.

    My bad.

Save for the last play of the game, I would be completely happy if they played the same way they did in the first game.

No worries. He had a sore shoulder between the Eagles and Cowboys games, but it wasn't anything serious and he's fine now.

He brought his **** to every game this year. I can smell it all the way in NC.

You're right guys, Morris needs to have a big game. If one thing Al Mo has proven, it's that he will get every yard he is capable of getting. The guy gets two yards when there is nothing there. I'm going out on a limb and saying that we will have an unsung hero next Monday night. And his name will be Hankerson. I'm thinking they will key on Garcon and Santana...and Hank gives us a gem of a game.
