Personally, I've always thought DHall was unfairly maligned by the fanbase. I'll say this: I never really thought DHall was a #1 CB. He's a guy who compliments a guy who does shut down the other guy, and I think this team would be better if we found one of those guys and moved Josh Wilson to nickel/slot, but he certainly had a hell of a game.

If he shut down Dez the way he did last night, I can't wait to see him man-handle Golden Tate on Sunday.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe we need to consider restructuring Hall's contract as he would count 8 million against the cap. He has had a tremendous turnaround during this winning streak.

For all the grief that Hall has gotten, he essentially wiped the slate clean last night. Broke Bryant's streak of 7 games with a TD. Helped stop Romo from hitting 5000 yards (he only needed 315 going into the game). 23, you got game!

I would say that was the defense's best game of the year last night.

And what a perfect time to start turning the corner. Josh Wilson also had a great game.

A lot of the pass deflections I was just waiting for a flag. They really played perfect 1-on-1 D on a lot of throws. That''s tough to do in today's NFL.

At least I didn't see him talking crap after the WR dropped the ball.

The man was awesome last night. He played like a shut-down corner.

I actually put that more on the officials, who mostly left their flags in their pockets for most of the game.

I liked that the refs let the WRs and DBs play out there. Sure it hurt the Skins passing game, but it helped deal with Dez

Hall and Wilson were excellent last night. Hall just about shut Dez down and that's very hard to do.

Hall and the rest of the defense played that perfect form of lights-out defense. I can't believe the tightrope walking they did and never went far enough over the edge for a flag. Hall was a focal point, but Crawford, Fletcher, Wilson all contributed in their roles. Just amazing. It's funny to see how much individual achievement can be had when these guys don't play as individuals, but cogs in a wheel. Not even as a Redskins fan, but a football fan in general, it's fun to watch a team like that.
