Babin was my most hated Eagle player easily, and I was always vocal about it. Every game the Skins played against him he did two things 1) take cheap shots at our players and 2) get flagged at critical times, hurting his team. He's a pinhead, keep him away.

Yep, he is certainly not the cleanest player around. I was at the Skins-Titans game in 2010 in Nashville, and I started focusing on Babin because he was always taking shots at guys after the whistle or completely away from the play. I was kinda indifferent about him until then, and after seeing more of him in the last few years and hearing more about him, I am definitely not a fan.

We actually had him signed before he went to the Eagles if I'm not mistaken. We cut him and he signed with Philly. So we've already tried this before.

Love your sig! Bellichick loves his older free agents that seemingly dont fit his system, yet somehow manage to fit his system. As they proved with the Talib signing, they want to improve that defense any way they can.

Oh, and just for fun, the Phillies have won a game more recently than the Eagles.

NO.. He is a 4-3 DE with only pass rush abilities and he will want alot of money regardless. Not worth it

I bet if he makes it through the waiver, the Redskins will sign him. He's better than any of the pass rushing DE on team (he will be sign to play strictly on passing downs) so why not give him a shot. Salary cap will not be an issue for the remainder of the season. Please don't put blinders on and act as if this team has the best defense in the league or RG3 can play every position on the team. We need all the pass rush help we can get because our defensive backs are awful.

I got blasted in the preseason for saying the Eagles pass rush would suck, because they only have one solid pass rusher and people jumped on me for not respecting Babin.

I'm not a fan. I'd say we should pass (as I feel with most FA signings). I don't even think he's that good of a player. But then playing OLB, I don't think he's ready for that. Nah, pass.

nah, Babin was a beast in Tennessee his last year.

Its why he got the contract in Philly, but its been a 2 season wonder for him.

rest of his salary is 1.6 million for this year i think. so I'm pretty sure we got that, just have to figure out if its worth it, especially if he's not on roster next season. HTTR
