Babin would have the possibility in dropping back in pass coverage in these situations as well, and he is horrible in coverage. Babin has had someone what of a drop off this year, coming off a season of 18 sacks and having only 5.5 this year, with 5 games left, it would take a miracle to reach his mark.

Either way I support the decision we make. $1.6 million, I think I read earlier is what he is owed for the rest of the year, this could be good could be bad, just gotta figure out what outweighs what.

    BTW nice sig lol!
There's no shame in not getting 18 sacks again though. If he gets 8-9, that's Orakpo/Kerrigan territory.

I don't think we should bring him in, I'm just sayin' to have some perspective on his production.

We are getting almost no pressure from that right side.

If you are happy with that, yeah he is thrash. Trash. Sorry, thinking ex eagles.

Maybe they aren't all bad after all.

Rob Jackson and Chris Wilson have combined for 2 sacks in the 9 full games since Orakpo's been out. Next man up doesn't seem to be working at OLB.

Redskins put in a claim for him too, according to Twitter.

Not surprised we put a claim in for him...I think Schefter said 8 teams put claims in.

Can Babin refuse to report to Jags so we can still get him?

That's gotta suck. This is similar to what happened to Merriman when he was claimed by Buffalo a few years ago. Now he's stuck there until the end of the season. I'm glad he's not going to a contender and basically riding the gravy train into the playoffs.

"Babin isn’t sure what to expect, but he did indicate that he wants to play for a winner."
A 2-9 team is quite a winner of course !
