FYI -- just heard on NFL Network the Skins did put a claim in on Babin. Wouldn't be surprised if they put a claim in on McClain.

In most instances I would agree. Because Reid's goal has been to win it all. Reid's goal for this season has changed, he's now looking to the future and either the next era of Iggles football or his next team. Due to this, I believe he's willing to late players go, in order to evaluate players that could possibly be part of the next era of Iggles.

IMO, Babin would have been a great situational pass-rusher in our 2-4-5. Line him up wide, let him stick his hand in the dirt and go after the QB. If we wanted to make a serious playoff run, he'd definitely help. Then when Rak got back next year, the situation would obviously be re-evaluated.
