You're just not getting this apparently. Saying a team is a few pieces away from being a PLAYOFF CONTENDER, when that is very much in question, along with the DIVISION TITLE, is ridiculous. Essentially, it is HIS OPINION that we are not playoff contenders, which is a stupid thing to say on his part, when we played them tough in the first game, and beat them (The Mighty Football Giants) last night. You can't spin, or backhand compliment your way out of that.

I read that whole interview and you guys took the ONE piece you wanted to and ran with it. He also said you guys are a good team and should be in the conversation...what in hell is wrong with that?

If I say that the Giants are a few pieces away from being Super Bowl, or playoff contenders, then try to backtrack and say something like "Wellll, I mean they do some good things, They have some good players on the Dline, Eli's a good quarterback," wtf would that sound like to you? Would it sound like a compliment?

*Edit, I get it. Maybe because we've been a terrible franchise for the better part of 20 years, we're suppose to thank him for a wonderful compliment, or even be honored that he would even attempt to speak positively about the poor little souls on our team, fighting their hearts out.

Cruz never said anything more than you guys are a good team but still need a few pieces. Last night could have gone either way or was I watching a different game? .. FYI Cruz played great. .He'd have been in for 6 in the 1st quarter if manning didn't overthrow him. He torched the same weeknesses he exposed in the first game.

We both get the Ravens and Eagles.... N.O. at home or Dallas at home ... Dallas will be hungry. (a wash). You have an advantage of course in the final game Giants vs Atlanta away while you guys get the Brownies.... I see 3-1 for both teams... Dallas also going 2-2. G-men squeak in to become someones nightmare in the playoffs again. Now, next year...you guys become the favorites I think.
