Amen, I could really give 2 ****s about what Victor Cruz says.

Exactly, giving him and his words way too much importance.

Are you seriously upset about what Victor Cruz said back in November when many of us thought we were also weak in certain areas on our team and especially on Defense, considering our lack of pass rush and injuries/suspensions in our secondary? He said we needed a "couple more pieces" to be contenders. Not even D Hall was mad about what Cruz said:
"Even though we beat them two out of the last three times, you still got to prove it. You've got to go out there and prove it. Even thought we've faced them and matched up well against them, we haven't matched up well against other teams in this league. I can't argue with him right now."

No. Not upset at all. Perfectly calm. I just want some people (who at times, give the impression that they don't clearly understand what Cruz was implying) to understand why others would have an issue with that, and not get retarded and start accusing people of jumping the gun, being sensitive, or whatever. That's all. If it doesn't bother you personally, fine... I'm good with that. I'm perfectly fine with Deangelo Hall not having a problem with it . Maybe he just said that for the media, but privately felt differently, and didn't want to create headlines. Maybe instead of letting Cruz's comments affect him, he just went out and decided to take care of business on the field like professionals do. Maybe it motivated him. Who knows.

What I do know is that Victor Cruz didn't think that we were capable of even contending for a playoff spot, which I obviously took issue with, especially since we had showed the previous two weeks that we were starting to get things together, and would clearly be a tough out for them. He's a good guy, and I'm sure that he didn't mean for it to come out that way, but he may have unintentionally wrote a check that his team didn't have the heart to cash this season.

You're being very immature about this. Pretty funny considering that in your previous post you wondered whether or not I was angry. . And I made sure not to single you, or anyone else out, out of respect, which is why I said "People." And I wasn't even directing that portion of my post at you to begin with, honestly.

I have a problem with what Victor Cruz said. I've stated that numerous times. I have no problem with anyone who didn't take offense to it (I guess you missed that), even though I don't think they understood exactly what was said. I have a problem with people who make posts like "Are you serious? Stop being sensitive." Your remark above would be Ex. 1 for me. Not everyone reacts the same to comments made by others. Posts like yours ( especially when failing to comprehend something, and getting frustrated at said failed attempt) would indicate a certain level of sensitivity to me.

And I don't need comments from professional athletes, sports in general, or random cats( who have no idea how to grasp what someone is saying) getting offended to help me with my self esteem.

I'm glad we won the division. I still like to chime in on this subject though from time to time, considering that it's still an open discussion. I'm not harping on anything. We're in the playoffs, and they're at home. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

Considering that if you read through this thread you would see that I said the exact same thing, the first part of your post really isn't all that surprising. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what makes you think I'm arguing with you... Like you said, this isn't necessarily a matter of who's right and who's wrong. People say a lot of things. Saying that and responding to someone directly and saying the same thing are two completely different scenarios, especially considering that we aren't talking face to face, where tone can be conveyed, where you would clearly see that at the moment, I'm fairly reserved, and have no issue with you. At the end of the day though, you were the one who tried to turn this into something personal.

So I will drop this "Argument." If you want a better understanding of whatt I've been saying, find my posts in this thread and it'll help.
