Honestly speaking...NYG have won a SB in 80's, 90's, 00's & 10's. No other team can say that. The Pats are the only team with more SB appearances since 1980. With NYG being the official Patriot killers, and have won SBs in each of the last four decades, I would have to consider them to be the most consistent NFL franchise in this era.

Honestly, this is the same thing as Osi. He called RGIII by the name of Bob referring to the fact he didn't deserve such a cool nickname. As soon as he earned it, Osi changed his tune. Cruz is doing the same thing here. And the fact that the Redskins have made such a run, it is a well deserved turn around. Cruz has no control over what the owner of the Giants did. He saw he was wrong about the Redskins and he corrected that. I am looking forward to seeing this game. Two rookie QB's in a playoff game.

There's consistency when discussing championships every decade, then there's consistency from year to year, which (recently) they are not.

Lots of parity in the NFL. Year to year nobody will get a free pass to the playoffs anymore..

everyone in there has 10 wins or more. That's the first time since 2005 that all playoff teams have 10 or more wins.
While I agree parity is alive and well, of the 12 teams in the dance, 8 were there last year.
Parity does not dictate as much as it did before realignment.

I completely agree with this. That is why they catch everyone off guard when they have years like they did their last two Super Bowl runs.

Apples to Oranges. We're contending with a rookie QB and rookie RB. Eli had a few seasons to get acclimated before he took the Giants to the big game. The future for us is bright. Eli's in his 30s.....prepare to be watching this exact scene for years to come.

Na, they shouldn't. They made a hell of a run both times. In seasons like that, a lot of things have to go your way, but they went out an did it (or the other team did it to themselves)

What is this the Giants are not a consistent team stuff? They are competitive EVERY year. At least with the Giants we know they will be in it every year. Same can't be said about other teams.

Nope...that is true..we don't care. The way they won it was more exciting than any way I have ever seen. Take it every time.
