Cruz reached out to the parents of one of the victims, Jack Pinto, a 6-year-old who was a fan of the Giants and Cruz. Cruz wrote Jack’s name and “My Hero” on his cleats (and put a similar message on his gloves), and said that he was told by Jack’s parents that they were considering burying Jack in a No. 80 Giants jersey.

He said after the game that he hoped to visit Jack’s family this week, “even if it’s just for an hour.” He added that he planned to bring the shoes and gloves with him as gifts.

Victor Cruz was obviously talking out of his salsa-idiot-dancing ass and not from any knowledge of whom is and is "not yet contenders!" Seems to me that we beat those ass-clowns 2 of the three times we played them when he made this idiotic comment and now we've made it 3 of 4. And the ONE that they won of the four was a last minute lucky pass! Otherwise, we soundly beat them that entire game.

Maybe he and his team should shut their damn mouths and concentrate on winning games. Super Bowl chumpions, my ass!

One point none of us Skins fans wants to think to hard about is the reduction in cap space was done in the name of competitive fairness to remove the competitive advantage we gained by having an honest, capable front office. If the Skins and the Cowboys make it impossible for the Giants to make the post season, wouldn't it be an argument the cap hit wasn't big enough?

Everything everyone is saying is in regards to football. I dont think anyone here would knock him as a person off of the field. I have only heard very good things about him and have tremendous respect for what he did for that family. I wish I could help in a way he did. I still want him to lose miserably every week and look up at the Redskins wishing he was one of us.

I can't really decide whether they were in agreement, or didn't have a problem with it. Either way it was a little dissapointing, especially considering that we controlled whether or not we would make the playoffs. Seeing as how badly Atlanta tapped that ass yesterday, it looked more like they might be the team that's a few pieces away from contending for a playoff spot.
