so much for "Modest Morris." His success this year has clearly gone to his head, and now he's too good for the old Mazda. Watch him pull up in some new Mercedes tomorrow.

GEORGIA AVENUE.
Maybe someone with a good garage can help the guy out by storing it and also giving him a good price on an end to end tuneup. The guy has proven himself to be worth the effort.
Maybe it is the nostalgia after watching John Riggins A Football Life, but stories like this and the immediate impact of RGIII both on and off the field has me feeling good about being a Redskins fan again.
Don't get me wrong, I was/am never ashamed of being a fan. Just the fact that we have a few characters on the team again. Yes, Chris Cooley was/is a character but we really didn't have any different types to go along with him. Alfred Morris, the humble hard working running back, London Fletcher, the steady rock and ageless wonder and leader of the defense, RGIII, the superstar QB in the making that is the leader and identity that this team so desperately needed.
I could feel differently Tuesday Morning but I doubt it...I am really liking what is happening.

Wow, that's an opportunity waiting to happen for a shrewd auto shop or dealership.
He can buy the battery and I can install it for him for FREE.
Or I can have him take it to my friend's All-Tune-and-Lube shop but will have to give him a pre-warning of course: My friend is a Ravens fan.![]()

I don't blame him for not wanting to get rid of his car. I owned a 1992 Mazda 626 and it was by far the best car I've ever owned. As for those saying he can afford this and that, remember, he was a 6th round pick, he's getting close to rookie minimum salary. It's not like he's getting paid millions per year yet.
My happiness.
Just because he's making 6 figures now, it could be over in 5 years... it's not a sustained number...so, I respect the mazda... it's paid off...
Being a Redskins fan prepares you for life.
Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.Originally Posted by suze109
funny you mention that as I had a 626 in college - was older than a 92 - don't remember what year it was but it was a great car. Seems like nothing ever broke before I sold it, was very nice to drive and reliable. Was also the car I had when I met my wife, those seats in the back fold flat and allow you to lay down with your legs going into the trunk. What a great car.
Much respect for Morris.
Maybe he needs to shoot for SB MVP. Don't they get a car?

Was I the only one who saw the partial title "WP: Alfred Morris Benching" on the main home page and had a mini heart attack?! lol
